In an alternate timeline this was how Sonic 06 played and people have been asking for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 ever since.

The REAL mike thegamerguy24 i mean its the only the 3d sonic series that balanced platforming with speed. yeah sonic generations (modern) and unleashed (day) stages had platforming and speed but platforming in those games were clunky as hell. I love the generations gameplay more since i love the speedy section, but i cant denie the fact that the adventure games have a much better control and platforming than any other 3D sonic games. and It is the closest that we ever got to sonic 3 feels in term of speed and platforming.

@@TycoNewRC Way better level design and pacing. The levels have their speedy sections and platforming section, to make the game less boring. In sonic 1 and 2 have their own speedy levels. But its just that levels not a mix of both speed and platforming.

@@awesomeguy2009 Yep. This is basically the full SA1 spindash, '06 you just move at a constant speed for 3 second and charging doesn't make a difference.

So the weather goes from being clear in Sections 1 and 2, to rain in Section 3 and to a freakin' thunderstorm with rainbows in Section 4! That is awesome!

The original 06 kinda nerfed Silver, but it's still my favorite Sonic game to date. But the early release caused for the game to only use 45 percent of its potential, *THIS REMAKE IS ITS FULL POWER!!!*
Though it's kinda funny how two different teams are basically kinda racing each other to remake it first lol.
The amount of work and dedication that went into making this game right is just amazing. The water mach speed section was always my favorite part in the original and I was interested to see how it was fixed in this, wasn't disappointed. It's great to see just how much the community loves this series. I just wish SEGA would one day see it too.
In an alternate dimension, this would be Sonic Adventure 3 and everyone would be asking for Sonic Adventure 4.
If there's no Chao Garden, it's not Sonic Adventure
If there is barely a variety of different gameplay styles it’s not sonic adventure

@@CraftTest943 Sonic has a top speed animation now that's different (he's a little more hunched over with his arms behind him)
I think there was a charm to the spread out arms honestly, made him feel like he was cutting through the air

Real shame the Fans can make better Sonic games than Modern Day Sonic Team. First proved with Mania now proved with this made from the UNITY engine....
To be fair the ground work for this was already setup, it was more of a case of porting alot of it over and re working it
They didn't make the game, they fixed it.
I really like the rain touches and score bonuses implementations.
But I can't say I am a fan of the momentum based physics.
Though eitherway good work.

@@Xavier-jt5do i like the physics but it does make platforming akward sometimes because of the amount of speed you retain. Mostly in kingdom valley

Let me put it this way.
It leads to Sonic being harder to stop and easier to fall off of into pits.
In a game not designed with that in mind.

Sonic's running without his hands cuffed but rather open like he's an airplane still exists in this remastered version, but this video didn't show it. What I've noticed is that Sonic now has 4 gear shifts when he's running instead of the original 3. The first is when he runs and his arms moves back and forth with his legs. The second is when his arms are extended far out to the sides. The third is when his arms are behind him but are still open...that was his top speed in the original. But now he appears to have a fourth gear where he not only cuffs his fists but he also runs exceedingly faster than he ever has. You can tell he's going faster than usual because there seems to be these white lines that blow past the screen as special effects to intensify his speed.
Sonic running with arms spread out like that looks silly to me.

Now that's real skills most of us don't use tool assist and the other half of gamers using tool assist on Sonic the Hedgehog are not actually using the real skills

While the presentation is great, they need to nerf Sonic's speed a tad bit. The speed sections have too many short gaps for timed jumps.
This guy is choosing to go at top speed 24/7, besides the mach speed sections and the automated segments, YOU have the choice of what pace you want to go, the speed doesnt need to be nerfed
also how do i change the animations to be like yours cause for me they look different (this one 5:12)
Lightspeed Dash on the rings but don't press forward until the lightspeed dash has completed, then you'll have that extra speed and the different animation

5:12 I know the modern (Unleashed onwards) dash ramp model was unused in 06 but why did they use both models in this project?
They are used before Chain Jump sections in Mach speed areas, no special reason, just looks nicer.

Me too, the other one so far looks like more of a graphics update, but it still looks pretty good

-There is an optional homing attack reticle
-Graphical effects like volumetric lights and distance blur
-An option for TGS animations and E3 camera speed
-Added abilities for Tails
-Cut dialogue in Wave Ocean and Kingdom Valley
(Btw this demo has 2 levels opposed to Gistix's with only 1 level)

Well I have to say 06 remaster is going to be great once the full version of it. Wow ChaosX has really working very hard on this project. I hope he doesn’t work to hard. Though My favorite part about 06 remaster is super sonic. And most of all, great graphics visual improvements and all others look greater than ever, just like the real console version of the game. I can’t wait to see more content in the future.
