The Christmas gum drop tree is very collectible. Also, this is a great reason to charge the the camera, have a bag and or a cart available and most importantly don’t stop the hunt until you’ve completed the bin. The bin was filled with so much vintage. Tree in a box , plastic wicker clock, die cuts and so much more.
Been collecting Halloween for forty years and I so covet the owl. My sister has the owl and I have wanted one ever since I saw hers. My only condolence is that I have the haunted house. All of our finds are from thrift stores and yard sales. We don't believe in paying antique store prices. Anybody can pay a lot of money and buy vintage Halloween, but we take pride in the fact that we hunt for it. So happy for you on your big scores!

Buckees is awesome. Its a Texas thing but I do believe a few other states have or talked about building them. I know Alabama has one. Huge Family type gas station w/clean bathrooms, good fresh food and all kinds of snacks along with t shirts and home decor. Every holiday there is a new Buckee Beaver shirt for Halloween (glows in the dark), Christmas, 4th of July and Easter. Im originally from PA but have lived all over. Currently in Texas and we stop at Buckees when traveling and usually time it with holidays and so i get the shirts.
Yep, my sister & I play a game when we go thrifting, and we do go all day so about 10-20 stores...we ask one another what one item we want to find and 9 times out of 10, we find that mysterious item that we wanted!!!!!!!!! It's crazy, like "here you go!" LOL! LOVED seeing your excitement, and I do love the owl & pumpkin you found!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!
I love your excitement when you find something special. But never let your excitement stop you from continuing to look. I have found that often there are similar items in the bins the same day, either in the same bin or another one, that were donated by the same person. I am more of a vintage Christmas collector so I was excited when you found the foil bells, the mercury glass picks, and the gumdrop tree. Thanks for this exciting series of videos!

Wow good for you guys! I totally understand the excitement! Just last week I found the huge pumpkin blow mold with the big cat sticking out the top from the 90s for $20 at the thrift. I was literally shaking! Aside from that I get ALL my best vintage stuff from the bins. Way better selection than my thrift stores
Those blow molds where a once in a lifetime find. I am a blow mold collector and have never seen either of those blow molds in person. I hope I have a blow mold score like that someday. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

My husband has been drinking out of those same mushroom cups for 25 years or so everyday. Very nice. I have went to the Bins and not twice. Both times they did not have much. Maybe I Should try again !! 😎

Love that owl! And it's in such good shape! I have one that I found about 8yrs ago and sold on ebay.. but it was more faded and had damage. The buyer ended up sending it back because of damage (even though I posted pics of said damage) anyway, it seems they damaged it more before sending it back.. but.. the point is, I still have it and probably will just enjoy him myself. Yours is in wonderful condition. Couldn't have found a better home...

I think the closest Buc-ees to the northeast is Florence, SC. We saw it when driving to Florida from Virginia. There are a few in Georgia and Florida. Most of them are in Texas.

Hey girls congratulations and I think that’s the most excited I’ve ever seen you two🤣. It was fun to watch and just a suggestion because I’ve done it before if you are gonna pop out the dents on that little plastic pumpkin warm it up with the blow dryer first otherwise it will crack.Try to get that little pumpkin as hot as you can get it without melting and then pop it out and hold those areas as smooth as you can get them until it cools off and continue to do that until it is almost back to perfection. I’ve done it before and you can get them almost brand new. It takes a little patience to hold The areas you’re popping out even if you put a cloth inside until they cool down. Good luck and I’m very happy for you🎃🎃🎃🎃Let me know if my suggestion helped out because it means a lot to me that you guys can save everything that you’ve gotten because you work so hard at it and take the time to save these things.

Ok, I shop here all the time, you happened to go on an extremely good. Most times they only have half the number of bins out and they are usually very picked over. I would not recommend a special trip to Camp Hill unless you are in the neighborhood.
