WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!! BEA-U-TI-FUL!!!!! that little car is just fantastic that color is awesome great video as always glug glug....glug glug....glug glug!!!!!
That is one awesome little Trabby, Austin. They had a two stroke 600cc engine that coughed blue smoke out of the tail pipe and the body was made from cotton (fibre glass). I've got a cheapy model of one of these myself also in pale blue Ace, they're just so quirky . Gotta love em. Ps those wheels really suit it 👌
I've said it before and I'll say it again; Best channel on RUclips. I don't collect or customise diecast models but your skill and sense of humour make your videos unmissable. Glad you're back Sir.
Hey has such a good voice for radio. Like that late night radio that comes on that plays a smooth jazz to end your night. 🎵 alright cats this is DJ resurrection signing off for the night. Remember to stay cool and watch out for the.... resurrection 🎵
Man, that interior it's almost like if they salvaged old molds from defunct diecast companies and didn't even remove the rust before use! It kinda reminds me of an old 60's Peugeot 404 sedan my uncle used to have. Love the final look. Stay safe cheers.
gosh dang he can even make a simple car look awesome! what a cool idea and what an awesome video! truly missed you! glad your back man!!!! cant wait to see what you got next!
Hey mate, if you send to 3DBotMaker, there are a couple things to know about their track and best racers. 1. Make sure it's a low center of gravity car. 2. Make certain the wheels are aligned absolutely as straight as possible. 3. Make certain there is no slop in the axel and wheel movements. 4. Do some racing decals related to the track...offroad or street racing. :) You car will be the sexiest looking thing on the track! I'd love to see it win it all.
It is super tricky getting a car to be the right combination of fast and consistent on Race Mountain. Then, once you figure it out, you still have to have luck on your side!
I’m so happy you’re back and making great content. Road to 100k! Also you should definitely do more custom work like drift cars or something like that winnebago you made one time
Trabi's are neat! Ive driven one, so different with that gutless two stroke engine. build quality is awful on the real things, body is made from a cotton composite. The blue you chose is actually close to one of the factory colors. You painted it better than the real trabi's though XD
Mega geil, weiß garnicht was ich sagen soll.
This is one of those weird hobby cross-overs where one runs into the other randomly! I'll have to drive my Trabant out from the West Coast of BC to Alberta one of these days so you can see one.
I would love to see one of your rides on 3D botmaker. Seeing one of these epic rides on King of the Mountain would be amazing. Gotta weight the car a bit for that race. They tend to sit in the 70 - 90 gram range, and I'd really enjoy seeing how you do a weight increase on the car for it, and just watching you build a car for the race in general
Oh hell yeah man! The color is so close to the original. And that comes from a man who owned this thing. It was a good chooice for first car, because it was so cheap. Back in the day these were the only cars that was available in Hungary. We were part of the Soivet Union. It was produced in east germany. My grandparents had to pay for it in advance and they had to wait 1 to 3 years for it. It was so cheap back in the day, that's why they could afford it. It had a two stroke 600 cc engine, that's where the name comes from. It was so weak, that the car's body was made of compressed paper to lighten the whole thing. The rollcage was made of metal, but oh my, it loved rust. My grandpa was lucky, he got it after a year, but in a bad color. He ordered it in a dolphine blue what we've called it (that you made), but arrived in egg white. But despite all the negatives he loved it so much. All in he had three of them and served him over 20 years in sum. It was so fun to drive. The whole car was so light the rear liked to bounce of the road in the turns. That's why we usually lowered it at the back and gave some negative tilt to the rear wheels. Then it was like a gokart. Thanks man to bring back these memories.
That ghost was the best thing ever. I hope we'll see him again.
A Trabi from the ‘80s never looked as good as this model. Beautiful!
The Legendary 2 Stroke Engine Car that can’t Coast!
Wonderful job Man!
You did the car so much justice!
No freewheel like a SAAB?
@@dongarnier5890
Only in fourth gear, and you never make it into fourth gear in that car unless you’re doing some rallying!
It's the best looking trabant on RUclips next to the real one Aging Wheels has.
My thoughts as well. I follow him and think he needs a model of the Trabant.
WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!! BEA-U-TI-FUL!!!!! that little car is just fantastic that color is awesome great video as always glug glug....glug glug....glug glug!!!!!
That there, is a Polish Hotrod worthy of rolling the streets of Krakow. Amazing!
Another good one. Thanks for sharing!

I love what you did with this casting! :) All it needed was a chance to "shine", and oh does it ever shine now! :)
Trabant owners all over will have a slight spring in their walk after watching this. Great job mate!
Giving a trabby some love is great. I looks great. I agree that one should be sent race prepped and see how it does.
I'm so glad you're back, better than ever and with new friend too 👍😁
Man, your editor is amazing! My son and I love the sense of humor on this channel.
Say hello for me!
I've said it before and I'll say it again; Best channel on RUclips. I don't collect or customise diecast models but your skill and sense of humour make your videos unmissable. Glad you're back Sir.
Dude, id love to see that rippin down the 3Dbotmaker track!!!
Awesome Paint Job And I Think That Is Sky Blue And I Like The Stance And It Was A Good Build!!!!
Hey man, looks like you are bringing daily content.....I need to keep up😁.....nice painting on this Trabant and greets from Germany 🇩🇪✌🏼😎
So good having you back man!
The edit with the "ghost" 😂😂😂
That has got to be one of the funniest videos ever.. Austin you are the man!
Thanks for all the bonus content lately!
Just fantastic love that color choice.
Such a quirky model! Great job!
Cheers
Harry and Ron would appreciate the makeover on the flying car, good work!
That interior is way better than the real trabant ;P
And I never saw one that shiny IRL ;)
Take us on more of the journey! The older vids had us go thru all the steps! I miss them!
The Trabant is so underrated, thanks for giving this one the first class treatment
Appreciate you being back in biz! 👍
She sure is purdy!!!! Good job!
That’s a nifty little car.

Love it! If I seen this car as a mainline hotwheels at the shops I’d pick it up right away
Great looking car! Simple and super effective custom! That clear coat looks nuts!
That new hood is awesome.
Pretty awesome little car
Learn something new everyday....never heard of a Trabant until today. Turned out very cool ! 🍻
That's such a neat car I've never seen one until now. Great paint job too
That clearcoat job was fantastic.
That's a cute car! Nice colour choice
Yup, I did one o' these. It's in my library. Ya did an awesome job. You went in a different direction. I like it 👍
Nice share, i’ve been looking for trabant casting, so maisto is the one.. cool. awesome restoration..
Looks great! A custom license plate would look good on it.
Those wheels look good on that casting
Thats one badass Trabant!
I think the only thing I'd have done different is a white roof, I feel like it would have really set it off. Do love that shade of blue, though.
many of these used to be blue and white so he probably picked a color from what photos of the trabant he found on the internet..
Hey DR
The intro music has always gotten me pumped up for your projects.
Nice little car and yes that shine is something else😁
Happy Weekend Austin
Love your new camera set up.
It really makes the paint job pop.
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS;)
Fantastic makeover!
Tres cute! Lovely job as always!
Nice restoration and paint job 👍👍
I come for the car sound effects! Lol
Sweet little car.
Das gluub!
Looks like the dolomite sprint. Really neat looking car.
gosh dang he can even make a simple car look awesome! what a cool idea and what an awesome video! truly missed you! glad your back man!!!! cant wait to see what you got next!
If the real Trabants had a sweet paint job like this one... everyone would be cruising in their very own killer Trabant.
I dig it... good job

..........and the waiting time to get one delivered in the old East Germany was a whopping 15 years!!!
I would drive it! fur sure! sweet restoration my friend!
Great job glad your back
Well that was perfect timing on my part, glad to wake up to new content! 👍
That would also make a neat mini gasser.
What a transformation. I’d drive it too. Keep up the great work!
Wow! Love the obscure restomod.
Call it Crazy Jimmy Blue 😁
I use axle tubes. Metal and styrene tubes also. Also using paper clips. The ones with the plastic coating. That also works
I love your voice so so so very much
Man, weird customs like this are amazing.
Very nice. Superb detail!
Those Maisto Trabants are quite hard to find here - makes me want to crack open my packaged one for a repaint!
The ghost is now your New mascot.
I love old volvo 240,you should realy do one up,if you can find.
Nice little restomod 👍👍😊
The ghost was really doing it for me on this episode. 👻 😂
Finally! A ghost comment! I died crying creating that little guy.
great job austin
Sooooooo badass again loving these regular videos so much ! Would be awesome to see a roof rack on it with a load of speakers 😂
I’m so happy you’re back and making great content. Road to 100k! Also you should definitely do more custom work like drift cars or something like that winnebago you made one time

Das auto ist einfach voll Kult!
Hatte allerdings nie gedacht dass so ne kiste auf diesem Kanal kommen wäre
It was made in East Germany and a product of communism, what do you expect? They aren't VW or BMW...😉
Great job 👍
Glug glug that was a sweet rebuild bro...lol.
I like how the videos are shorter. Makes them more enjoyable
That’s cool 😎 👍

The “Trabi” from East Germany. When the Wall came down, I saw a bunch of them when I lived in West Germany. My father in law had one.
That paint stripper can wipe the sins off my soul...
Like the Trabant, good choice
Nicely done!

I think it would be a cool chop top
Very cool custom man.
awesome color !!
Hell yeah! My favorite car out of east germany!
Adorbs!
Hell yeah #1❤🤘
It reminds me of the car from Harry Potter that belongs to Ron's dad . That little car would make a real nice hot rod .
The wheels you chose are actually my favorite ones to swap in. They are readily available on flea market cars, and look good on just about anything!
So good
Very nice!!
