The four stroke version of Trabant is like a 601 on steroids... Not because it stronger, but it more like a pumped up Trabant... I don't like them.. It's definitely not the same... The 2 stroke 601 is the best

Looks-a lichen more metal on the casting than the real car... How do you quadruple the value of a Trabant? Put fuel in the tank. A factory worker put an order in for a Trabant and was given a pickup date for ten years later. 'Morning or afternoon?' "What difference could it possibly make?" 'Plumber's coming in the morning.'

So glad you didn't paint that model yellow. Looks great in lime green. Also, the weathering of the front lamps and grill is a nice touch.

Cool resto, but I'd have LOVED to see a U2 Achtung Baby/Zooropa paint job! The Trabant was a major major design in that 90s era of their career.
