closest thing we have to these are the sirens from the firehouse down the road. I grew up with those, and I'm sure a lot of people who live in the mid-west grew up with tornado sirens. but the tornado sirens sound super scary!!!! just imagine waking up in the middle of the night to that. And I thought hearing the firehouse siren in the middle of the night was scary. lol
My Aunty is based in St Louis after moving out there 25 years ago from the UK, obviously the UK doesn't suffer a tornado season like America so don't have sirens going off during storms. The sirens are the one thing she can't get used to or not be spooked out by. She's always telling me how scarily creepy the sirens are and how they're worse than the actual tornado fear wise. Have a huge passion for tornados and extremely fortune to now have family in St Louis tornado alley to have the cak me to visit during storm season, hopefully a 15 year obsession with these things will finally be seen in the flesh but want to hear sirens go off more than anything else, there's just something about them that makes you want to hear them for real ️xx
If you want to see a tornado you have better chance driving 2-3 hours south on a stormy day! Take 55 straight south to near the bootheel on a high risk day
I love that sound from the sirens. It's creepy but like silent hill I think. I love tornado/thunderstorm and thunder videos. But I've so much respect. Would it happen in Germany, everyone will think "It's the end of the world!" I saw a Thunderstorm with a supercell last year in germany. It was so scary! I looks like aliens come to us and want to eat us. (Yeah, I know, it's stupid to think that) But the sky was dark blue, green and grey. I saw the supercell so good. It was my first supercell I saw in my live and I think perhaps it was the last. It's really unnormal in Germany to see something like that. I really frightened for my live. I have seen the beginning, when it came up to us, the middle and the end. And then everything was back to normal as would be what never was. The trees were directed at a 45 degree angle to the ground! Some people are unfortunently died.. They didn't think it would be so bad. In Germany, there's no such thing actually( I don't saw a funnel, but it was.. yeah..I don't know how to discribe that. ( I can send you a photo, when you want to see it. It was really creepy!) But now I'm not longer afraid of thunder. I hope you guys are okay! : ) (Sorry for the long text.) Awesome video and nice wishes from Germany! : )
I remember that. Where was this? We lived in Affton at the time, now in U City. I just moved here last year too. In the Carolinas we never see anything larger than an F2.
Kokonut Freaks Does anyone by your residence own a rotational siren? Sirens in St. Louis are omni-directional, meaning they put out sound in a steady 360° without rotating, so I'm kinda wondering.
I laugh at the people who think the sirens are scary but I am use to it because I live in belleville but if the storms are bad it gets really scary because your house will shake
Sparky Junior well i just asked a group of people who have been in the siren business because im pretty damn sure its a 2001. guess we will see who's right, and if im wrong props to you

I love storms!!
OMG that lightning! St. Louis has the best lightning. :D
I can hear a federal signal 2001 130
I remember that. Where was this? We lived in Affton at the time, now in U City.
I just moved here last year too. In the Carolinas we never see anything larger than an F2.
I faintly hear the old thunderbolt 1000T that used to be in St peters after the second 2001 winddowns.
I was so scared when I heard them. I just moved to St. Louis and had never heard the sirens before.
Haha, welcome to tornado alley
The Sky In St. Louis Got Darker A Tornado Might Have Fromed
Where are you? I lived in Affton at the time, and I think we just got a lot of wind and rain. Then again we could barely hear the sirens.
Dude this is freaking scary lol!
I know man! Thanks for watching :)

Welcome to Missouri
Love the sound of a Federal Signal 2001.
OMG THIS IS CRAZY
This is normal for us xD
STL Did not have any 2001s? Where is this?
St peters possibly
@@Sirenfireproductions5209 a little late on that

was there a tornado
I like that siren
South County?
5 seconds per mile I think
I wonder where randy Orton was on that day?.
Shah Ji Lol😂😂😂
Sounds like whelen vortexes 430 hZ and federal signal 2001's
Whelen WPS-2910's with ESC-2020's and ESC-2030's for controllers.
And no way in hell is it a FS 2001. The tone is too high to be one.

Sparky Junior file:///Users/srodriguez_17/Desktop/Screen%20Shot%202014-11-14%20at%206.46.56%20PM.png copy and paste that, get owned
Sparky Junior told you it was a fucking 2001
Move to Cali u have no problems trust me we barely have earthquakes
Yea, but only shit fireworks
Mya Horn California gets tornados and daily earthquakes. Don't even. xD
I haven't felt ant earthquakes since the one in August of last year and wow random funnel clouds when we get a random big storm.
California is long overdue for 9.0-9.7 earthquake, has been for about 20 years so... any moment now :/
+Mya Horn you'll be able to feel the aftershocks at least to the Midwest as far as Ohio
