just for the people that wanna know the sirens: Federal Signal Model 5B (higher pitched one, also has some pitch fluctuation issues) Federal Signal Model 2 (Lower pitched) the Model 5 is on top of a water tower by the comcast(?) tower, not too far from the model 2. The Model 2 is located at the fire department.
These 2 legendary sirens made by Federal Signal sound great together. The STH-10 was discontinued around 1989, but a Model 2 is still available brand new.
@@wadessirenvideos6750 you still see many sth10s in the country there’s actually a couple still in Tennessee Fairfield has 2 and cookeville has 1 Monterey also has 1 there’s actually was one in Crossville but it got removed in 1990 was on the water tower in downtown
The 2 sirens heard in this video must be a lot closer to each other than siren locations typically are. These sirens probably are only half a mile apart. Outdoor warning sirens, or tornado sirens, often range from 100 decibels (minumum) to 130 decibels at 100 feet away from the siren when measured by a decibel meter. This high sound level enables them to be heard from up to a mile away, making them suitable for outdoor warning notification purposes.
Thank you! I've never been afraid of storms (quite the opposite actually), but I have known more than a few people who were - seems like that could be a real problem depending on where you live.
Interesting to know that this amazing tornadic-Tstorm video with tons of lightning and that catchy tornado warning SIREN with the nice thunder..happened smack right on the very 20th anniversary of the F5 Jarrell TX tornado on 5/27/97....that's right......Meanwhile..love the constant lightning and tons of thunder HERE..with some lovely claps too...like at 06:27 and others.... which goes very well with the SIREN......as this is my very kind of Tstorm video..big big time.... Exactly 30 years, 6 months ago today, 7/28/89..I audiotaped/videotaped a huge Tstorm with tons of CGs and claps...video is on my channel here....
there is something on the ground at 4:34 into the clip saw no power flashes to confirm what it was but i believe the is a funnel there, back-lit by lightning flashes
Another update: I know there is an sth10 near this area, but the wind down in this video seems too fast for an sth10, and sounds normal for a model 5.... But the other is definitely a model 2. Also, the poor sth10 and/or model 5 can't keep it's pitch :/
I can hear St.George's siren in the background. Is that Dartmores siren you were closest to. Fairfield has 3 sirens. I knew of 2 but didn't know there are 3.
Honestly, I don't really know. We have only been in this particular area for a couple of months now. Doing a quick Google search, I can see that we're about a 6 or 7 minute drive from both of the locations you mentioned. I'm sure that's not the answer you were hoping for, but it's all I got.
St. George's wasn't in the video, but Dartmoor's was. The other one was either the fire department's or the one at Dorchester Golf Maintenance (im willing to bet it was the fire department's, since the model heard is a common siren used by fire departments: Federal Signal Model 2)
One bolt of this lightning could destroy every appliance in your house. Anytime I have an electrical storm I unplug my laptop and shut off the breaker for the central AC.

if the sirens doing up and down, what is the fire signal? or is it a faster wail?

I love how when the sirens go off we do the opposite of what you're supposed to do lol.
Yes, that does seem to be the way that it usually goes, doesn't it?
4:09: I thought I saw a Tornado in the middle of the screen.
I think you did I see it too
that might be a tornado though
Multi vortex tornado powered to be between an EF3 OR EF4 or registered to be a lower bigger cloud that look like a tornado.

Great video, this shows the true power and beauty of nature, storms honestly scare me🤣🤣⚡️

i actually really like it when it storms
Nothing to be frightened of. Your city will take care of you. You need to pay attention, however.
The beginning of this video is soooooooooooo relaxing 😌
That is the scariest time to hear the tornado sirens going off when it is after dark with a severe thunderstorm in progress.

Just AWESOME!
It certainly was!
I love Dartmoors' siren. I wish St. George sounded like that.

Definitely more peaceful after they go off lol
The sirens give it a nice, eerie ambience.

2:32 is that a STH-10 and a Model 2-240?
This was a house that we were renting on a golf course, so unfortunately I have no idea what kind/model of sirens that they were using.
I though it was a model 5... Although, the Sth 10 does sound similar

Be nice if they just updated em all with talking sirens lol
They discontinued there siren system for good last month

Nice sirens what kind are they
Brad Sullivan Federal Signal STH-10B, and Federal Signal Model 2
@@MiddleTNSirens The STH-10B variants are often lower pitched, this is probably the 10A phase version

isn't the attack warning signal ??
No, it's the alert tone.
Thats crazy a thunderstorm that leads to a tornado
all tornadoes originate from severe thunderstorms with rotation

wait i thought this was like fake with audio clips but omg its not-
Wow
I don't because the tornado siren too loud
You don’t what?
