Daydream Era No not the key change, but a darker sold texture. This is one of the best transitions Ive seen anyone use when going from daydream to Butterfly. It’s so subtle but even going back to her other performances you definitely here it in her low notes and runs although her melismas are much higher

She stopped performing Hero in the original key of E major as early as 1993 and by the time we get to 1996, she's already performing the song in E flat major.
