I was not prepared for the goosebumps and shock I got when she started singing. She sounded SOOOO daydream it was unbelievable. Such a beautiful gem of a performance, she was singing for herself here.
OMG this is an AMAZING performance. I have never heard her do that at 3:20 and it was great. She even went for the "lord knows" part from the studio version and everything. I'm almost positive she could have done the bridge like she did during the Daydream Tour (except for the G5). Queen!!!!!!!

Luis Salgado it’s not even her confidence her actual vocal condition has deteriorated especially since 2016/2017. At least before 2018 you could say that there’s songs she could easily have sang 100% live (Without You, My All minus the first chorus, Touch My Body, Make It Happen, Beautiful, Hero...) but now she looks uncomfortable above a G#4 and I’ve heard her crack too much at Bb4 at the highest. She literally drinks while singing Touch My Body now

Just goes to show that you were right, you should never count our girl out! She truly sounds AMAZING in 2020, like BETTER THEN SHE HAS IN DECADES!! Seems as if maybe she's getting proper rest & just feeling more confident now..Idk..but whatever she's doing, it definitely shows in her voice & general demeanor bc she is legit glowing from the inside out! I was there on the 21th and 22nd and she was amazing. Best nights I guess. She still has the voice. She is older now so I guess she makes a different degree of effort when she hits particular notes. She has bronchitis very often, more now than when she was at Sony with Mottola controlling her...He used to take care of her voice more than Mariah herself these days.She is aging, so I guess you body change but also your voice. Sha has a more mature voice now, but you have also to consider that she still has nodules, and none of these have been removed yet(nor i think they will ever be). If she lipsync some parts I don't reallt care. The voice who sang the notes was hers, the authentic one in a studio recording. Maybe today she needs to hit a note more than once even in the studio, or she needs several different takes before reaching the final result, but its all natural. If I was a singer and I had the chance to mime very difficult parts of a song I would do that without a doubt. Everytime. Even with my voice in the best conditions.
Alex Bradsahw It's like Tevin Campbell. When you you've be using extremely high octaves for over 20 years, your voice strains with age. She's 44 here and sounds fine. Just like Tevin is 37 at Essence and sounds fine.

This is filmed with a smartphone microphone. The voice is impressive - she still has the top notes. I expected much worse. a couple of notes were off, sure, but she sings such complex runs I am actually amazed she can land back on her feet.

This is filmed with a smartphone microphone. The voice is impressive - she still has the top notes. I expected much worse. a couple of notes were off, sure, but she sings such complex runs I am actually amazed she can land back on her feet.
first of all, she is a vocal legend and Mariah sounded amazing, i dont know what you talking, if youre so delusional, thinking anybody who sing at her standard can sound after 25 professioal and almost 40 years singing like in the beginning, you are really a dumbass.
