@@DanthemanCQC I was able to figure this out. You don't need the vWii stuff if you don't plan on using it. I don't. But if there are missing things in the website you probably don't need it and it's probably built in.

Around 6:40, the section titled "Downloading and Installing the Wii Mii Channel" doesn't appear for me in the Finalizing Setup page; it just jumps straight to the "Additional Homebrew apps" section. Is it still necessary to download the Mii Wii Channel (if so can you please provide me the download links and the script for Mac ?)? Or can I just skip directly to the Patch IOS 80 part?
Some files have multiple versions of the wiiu and apps folders, for example, it would say wiiu 2, wiiu 3, or apps 2, or apps 3. It seems when extracting the zip files, only some of them successfully created a folder titled wiiu and not wiiu or apps with a number attached etc. How do I manually merge those files with numbers on the end with the original "wiiu" and "apps" folders?

In my opinion, it's way easier to do it on the vWii You can play GameCube games from the main menu of the Wii U, but you would have to inject every single game individually which would take forever

running the mii channel script doesnt work - can someone help me? 11:06 when i try to run it, powershell just blinks up for half a sec and instantly closes. u can see a red colored textline, but dunno what it says cause its gone so fast... I even click "open" on the security warning tab, that shows up before powershell opens the script. any ideas?

I'm having a bit of an issue with running Powershell on the Mii Channel file. Even when running PowerShell, the actual file does not show up in my downloads folder. Is there any quick fix for this? Also, HUGE props to your videos. I quite literally got the inkling to start modding my Wii six days ago because of your video, and have modded a Wii for my coworker AND MY WiiU in the span of a few days. You are doing a lot of nerds a serious service.
it seems windows by default blocks scripts now. you can open the powershell as admin, use Get-ExecutionPolicy, itll most likely show "restricted". if thats the case, you can change it to unrestricted by using Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy unrestricted -force, then run the script, and if you want change it back to restricted using the same command
@@BelowAverageGaming I ran Powershell as administrator, but when not running it normally, it will no longer just open the file and install the wad by dragging the file into powershell, I'm not sure why it doesn't work.
Okay after doing all this can i play my disk games normally? Or would that mess things up? Can I play my physical games without issues without doing anything or downloading anything? Please let me know as I am afraid to try, new to all this 😊

hi, I tried entering the Payloader-Loader Installer but it asked me to enter my Nintendo network ID, so I did as it said but it says it was incorrect, so I clicked "I forgot" I sent it to my E-mail but it gave me "Error Code: 102-2452". I looked it up and it said it means console ban. Can you help me? thank you.😀
As you stated early in the process, why not get all zips in one go so you don't have to switch between pc and wii u... but why isn't all needed modules, plugins etc. Put into one zip (perhaps named 1. with each step containing all that is needed until a step needs some specific input etc. This would make it easier and faster to download ( you probably can't just zip a fully done install/Aroma'd SD card)
Dang it the page for the WAD manager got changed so the YAWM ModMii Edition link isn't there anymore and neither is the Windows script. All that downloading only to get knocked out of sync.
You should be following along with the written guide as well as this one, I believe the written guide has removed this step because it's either been integrated into a previous step or removed entirely. To put it short, if the written guide doesn't have it anymore, don't worry about it
Update: I found a discord that is about wii u modding, they told me to run a blank powershell and enter this: Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUser . From there, follow the instructions to unblock outside programs, and run the program again. It should work this time
14:11 Right after I load Aroma and the “Update folder” screen pops up, it goes all black on both of my screens. Am I supposed to wait or what? Delete the update folders myself on the SD card itself?

Unfortunately that seems to be the only fix for this. Rebooting your console and resetting the browser cache. I would attempt it a few more times and see what happens. Is the date and time correct on your console?

If you haven’t figured it out yet, don’t use the one with “beta” in the file name. Use the one from the link on the site he references at the beginning of the video. (Searching online, that one doesn’t have the correct file structure when extracted straight to the “apps” folder).
when i try to run the exploit i get a error that the FSGetMountSource failed and the as wasn’t properly fat 32 formatted, this happens at about what would be 12:53 in the video.
I’m getting FSOpenFile failed. File missing /vol/external01/wiiu/payload.elf and went and reinstalled the files and still received the message. Any advice? 12:53

The guide was really easy to follow and I had no problem updating my wii from an old version of Tiramisu to Aroma Also, how do you access the Homebrew Channel for the Wii U from now on? The Mii Maker boots into the real app and the health and safety info app also loads normally.
The Homebrew channel can only be accessed through tiramisu and is not supported on aroma. Aroma basically puts all your Homebrew apps directly on your home screen. Bypassing the need for the Homebrew launcher
How do you enter the aroma launcher? I can't seem to find an application to do so and I want to launch into my vwii because I mostly use that rather than the actual Wii u

Try a different SD card Make sure the card isn't too small And reformat the current card and try the steps again, Make sure you're plugging the SD card directly into the Wii U and not through an adapter. If none of that works, perhaps your SD card slot is broken

Even when i manged to find the script file Wii_Mii_Channel _Window.ps1 file, i had to go into Powershell command(ran as administrator and everything), to unblock the unregistered file, only to find the file location doesn't exist.... it can't download it from the web, or generate this wad file. no where on google, can I find the "Mii Channel V6(Wii).wad" file or a Wii_Mii_Channel_Windows.ps1 file that manages to generate/download this file. I'm stuck, how detrimental is it to NOT have this file? can i find it elsewhere?

The adapter doesn't do any it's just acts like a non micro SD Card the Console or PC still reads the files of the SD Card

You should never fiddle with IOS 80 or cIOS without Priiloader installed!!!!!

it took some minutes, but it worked!

Are you running Windows? What's happening exactly? Have you tried making sure you open it as system administrator of your PC?

Believe it or not I modded my WII U twice it worked but loaded back to the Wii U lol.

It means your SD card isn't formatted properly, if you have already formatted it to FAT32 several times, I would recommend you try a new SD card

no where on google, can I find the "Mii Channel V6(Wii).wad" file or a Wii_Mii_Channel_Windows.ps1 file that manages to generate/download this file.
I'm stuck, how detrimental is it to NOT have this file? can i find it elsewhere?
