I forgot that the past music in Sonic CD was still played as programmed sound channels (probably a dumb way to describe it but whatever) instead of pre-recorded tracks despite this being a CD game. It's a pity the sounds are so bit-crushed. I would love to hear what this sounded like before being converted to the SEGA CD.

it's simple. you need winamp and a in_vgm plugin. simply download those and in the preferences select the sega cd sound card(i forgot the name tho) and you can turn on/off the sound channels

THREEIO that’s not actually correct for this track. The simple answer as to where the hues are is that I didn’t realize they only played at the beginning of the track. I didn’t have the right channels activated at the beginning of the track. I never really played sonic cd so I’m not too familiar with the music
