I want to recommend a place I visited last month. It's the Snake Park of the Thai Red Cross Society near Lumpini Park. There is a performance every day at specific times, and after the performance, you can take a picture with the snakes. I think it's really fun. So if you aren't afraid of snakes, I strongly recommend going there.😆

You should go to Ying Charoen Market; it's a local market with cheap produce and fruits. You can take the BTS skytrain to Sapanmai station (N20).

Wow your Thai is better than mine, I am 100% Thai but been living in US for over 50 years, getting ready to retire soon and will move back to Thailand, been back 4 times already this year and been trying to get my Thai ID card but they won't give it to me. I'll be back Oct 14 for a visit. Been practicing Thai but hard to do when you don't have anyone to talk to. I learn new words by just listening to you.
there are many local communities in Bangkok and metropolitan (i rather say every province in Thailand) for you to discover.

In the first noodle shop you went into, the price of the noodle on the wall (written in Thai) is 60-70 baht, yet when they brought you the English menu, the price became 100 baht. That is just sketchy af.
P.s. btw I'm a Thai person myself, and 100 baht for a bowl of noodles for me is kinda exaggerated (especially for a local roadside stall). Unless you order it with crab meat or other special toppings

Thailand has a vibe that you can't find anywhere else in the world. It's such a lovely country. I had the best time of my life there. I felt incredibly depressed for about a month when I returned home. I still miss it every day, and that's why the algorithm keeps recommending videos like this, which I watch all the time 😭
BTS Talat Phu is near to you (The area where you had food and made a video clip) It's approximated 1 km. closer than Tha-Pha station.

Many of Chinese person are follow “Lhan Maa” movie to Talat Plu, that why may merchants speak English/ Chinese to you… even you look more Thai than past ❤
I've never ventured out this far when I went to Bangkok. I think the river acts like a natural barrier to more tourists going over. Thanks for also pronouncing Cha Tra Mue, never knew how it was actually pronounced!
Also Lanh Mah, (under How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies) got a very limited release here in the States on 9/13. Unfortunately none near me that I can go to.

Not far you can go by bts or mrt from center of bkk
