This video was so entertaining & fun! I made Steve Carell a latte back in summer of 2013. He was in Carmel CA for a big car show and I was working at a café in a very touristy area. He came in with his wife (who is stunning) and I actually didn’t recognize him at first because while he plays really awkward, derpy roles on screen, he looked SO SHARP in real life. Clothes that actually fit, nicely cropped hair, tanned skin, and he is taller than expected (he was eye level with me & I’m 5’10”). Unlike his onscreen roles, he didn’t talk much but was nice and gave people autographs and took photos. It was the most nerve-wracking latte I’ve ever made!!!! And I actually saw Sam at the USWNT victory game at the Rose Bowl last year and balked as hard as I did when I saw Steve Carell 😂 But didn’t say anything so as to respect your privacy! And honestly whether it’s an A-list celebrity or your fav social media influencer, I think it’s always a bit of a shock to the system when you finally see someone in person when you’ve seen them on a 2-D screen for so long.
I met the legendary Ms. Esther Rolle, (Florida Evans of Good Times) at a supermarket in Philadelphia around the University City area after a theatre play. I just introduced myself to her. Told her how much I admire her.
Fantastic on pronouns and respect for famous people going through they’re own shit 🙏🏽 we’re all humans here and it’s nice to be reminded of that. Love you both and wish you the best.

I met Shaun White at a Fleetwood Mac concert..me and my friend and him were the only ones buying tee shirts cause the concert was still going. He was a total sweetheart🥰😍
For about 20 years I had an autograph business here in England. I've met all levels of stars, some I have paid lot's of money and some I simply approached outside studios, hotels etc. Generally I found that the lower level celebs had the worst attitudes. David Bowie, Paul Weller, David Beckham, Samuel L Jackson were so nice and chatty. But on the flip side some of the lower level TV stars were horrible and arrogant.

Anyone who has lived in LA for a good chunk of time (especially if you're in the film industry) has had a ton of celeb encounters. I worked for a few years at a top-level studio, so we had celebrities hanging around all the time (I have to say, out of every celeb I've met, by far the nicest was Sophia Bush and the rudest was Liam Hemsworth [to be fair it was in the midst of his divorce]). But I think maybe my most memorable encounter was when I was at a Whole Foods after work trying to grab dinner. I just remember it had been such a stressful day at work and I was desperate to get home, and the woman in front of me was taking a while checking out. I was feeling pretty annoyed about it until she turned around to apologize for the delay and it was Hilary Duff. Sweetest person ever. Come to think of it, I had a lot of random encounters in that specific Whole Foods....like one time ended up chatting to Chloe Grace Moretz about probiotics? LA is weird like that. But yeah, celebs are honestly totally normal people, and I wish more people treated them as such, because you always see the relief on their faces when they realize you're not gonna treat them any different in a day-to-day situation or call attention to them.

First of all...yes. More videos about meeting celebs would be great. SO, I live in West Virginia, so not a lot of chances to meet famous people, BUT, I have been lucky enough to meet a few of my all time favs. First, Robert Plant. I have always crushed hard on him, I think between the voice and the hair, he is just a beautiful man (yes, I'm gay, but have a man crush). I am older, my kid is around your age. In 1988, we heard something on the radio, which led us to believe RP was flying into Charleston at a certain time. We sat outside the private airport for a while, until a car left, and my friend and I drove through the gate. The jet landed, we meet his band, then RP comes down the stairs...If he had looked at my friend and I ans said "piss off" it would have still been great, but he walked over, signed autographs, and asked us if we had tickets for the show. We had 2nd row, so he said he could not do better than that. He talked for about 15-20 mins, then told us he needed to go, kissed us both on the cheek, like a proper English gentleman...We cried...and called everyone we knew. LOL. Fast forward to the show...he walked from one side of the state to the other, found us and waved. SO COOL! When my daughter was first born, I never sang her lullaby's, I sang her Heart, Led Zep and F. Mac. I played that music to her before she was born. I had met Heart a couple times in my teens. 6 yrs ago, we did a meet and greet and my kid got to meet them. Ann is quiet and has phobias about germs, Nancy is very talkative and was so friendly. Both are friendly, Ann is just usually more subdued. During my kids repetitive stage (it is coming soon for you), Melissa Etheridge's Yes I Am was released, my kid played "I'm the Only One too many times to count. 6 years ago we met ME beside her bus. My kid asked her to sign her ticket, which she did, she held my daughter's hand for to support it as she signed. A couple years later we did a meet and greet. She was super nice. .Talked to everyone and HUGED everyone. I thought my kid was going to faint. She has been a LGBTQ roll model in my life, and a HUGE one for my kid, who is also gay. I also met Whoopi about 12 yrs ago, out back after a comedy show, she could not talk much, but she stayed and signed an autograph for everyone. I met Henry Winkler at a book show and he was such a nice guy. The one celeb where I nearly fainted was meeting Jill Hennessy (Actor, singer). Major crush since she was on Law and Order. She played on a national radio show that is out of my home town. When I met her she was so nice, she signed several things for me and hugged me twice. Her long dark hair brushed over my face...OMG. My kid was there telling me "mom, you can not pass out, you have to drive me back to college tonight." I would give them all a perfect 10. I have met a bunch of rock bands from the late 80's and 90's. Some of those guys were asses, but hey, when you have met Robert Plant and he kisses you on the cheek. Meeting a hair band guy is just like "who cares". I'm lucky to have met some of my faves... Since you guys lived in CA and the #1 person that I have wanted to meet since I was 8 has a home in CA...any ideas on how to meet Stevie Nicks? Asking for me and my kid...who's middle name is Rhiannon. LOL. Maybe that could be a video. "How to meet a celeb?"
I met billy idol once total rude Dick! I met Tina turner; Tom Jones, Sarah mchachlan , total classy nice folks! I met megadeth nice guys! Lenny kravitz super nice super down to earth human being! Met tori Amos, amazing nice h7man
they're honestly everywhere. I would say probably more on the westside (WeHo, Melrose, Santa Monica) but I lived in the Valley for a little while and saw a ton of celebs in Studio City/Sherman Oaks. If you're a tourist you might not see any celebrities, I think it's more in daily life living in LA that you just sort of run into them (either at grocery store/restaurants or at work). After a while it becomes normal.
