Looking at this for inside tiny home, just for visual help how wide are your treads? Looks great!
Hello! The treads are 7.5 inches on the narrow end which is code here in mass. It gets a little wider on the longer side hope that helps!!

Hello yes. As long as you frame the deck accordingly to “head off” the opening.
