Incredibly BEAUTIFUL and EASY crochet stitch tutorial for bedspreads, blankets, wraps, and more!

This gorgeous crochet stitch combination would make beautiful beach coverups, bed spreads, table runners, sweaters, blankets, etc. The stitch pattern is a two row repeat and you need a multiple of 8 chs + 5 to create any size crochet project you wish. HOW TO SLOW A VIDEO:

U.S. single crochet (sc) = U.K. double crochet (dc)
U.S. half double crochet (hdc) = U.K. half treble (htr)
U.S. double crochet (dc) = U.K. treble (tr)
ABBREVIATIONS:
FC - foundation chain (starting chain)
ch(s) - chain(s)
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
fpdc - front post double crochet
bpdc - back post double crochet
YO - yarn over
st(s) - stitch(es)
sk - skip
SPECIAL STITCHES:
Double Crochet 7 Together (dc7tog) - YO, insert hook into next st, YO and draw back through, YO and draw through 2 loops Repeat from * to * 6 more times. YO and draw through all 8 loops on hook.
WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS:
FC: Ch a multiple of 8 + 5.
Row 1: In the 7th ch from hook, dc. * ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc in next ch * Repeat from * to * across. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in same st, using next 7 sts and ch-1 spaces, dc7tog. * 7 dc in next st, dc7tog * Repeat from * to * across until turning ch remains. 4 dc in next ch. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1), sk next st, dc in next st, * ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in next st * Repeat from * to * across. Turn.
Repeat Row 2 - Row 3 for pattern.
