My main character is RL 500+ and on NG +7 (but actual travel is a way higher) and i'm kinda scared 😆 But still gonna dive into DLC with her to have highest variety of everything to use, and opportunity to test every weapon and spell i can find without changing my build. But still - first experience with Souls-like games, especially DLC is tough enough, but on NG +7 even with Scadutree blessing system is gonna be even more painful for sure 😁
bro ng+7 dlc gonna be everything one shotting you, I think even using the items in the game you’ll be fucked unless it scales differently in dlc regarding ng circle but its never been in any of the other games
@@ThorKAH well, actually if you have enough defence combined with temporary buffs (like boiled crab, liver or incantations), it's surprisingly how good you can tank some of the attacks even in endgame on NG +7. But if things will be too bad, i also got at least 3 characters prepared for DLC, but of course i would prefer my main
This is exactly what I needed, I've been avoiding most content about the DLC because most of it is too spoilery. Light greatswords sound really interesting, I like using longer weapons but I've been getting bored of how the only choices are slow or very slow. I'm a little worried about balancing and power creep, I really hope the DLC items won't just be straight up upgrades.
I already watched pine's and vaati's videos today and was looking for more non-spoiler info. This is perfect, and I'm glad you linked to other vids so I can go down a rabbit hole tonight, lol.
about the scarlet rot/poison kick. we already have something similar in the game to this, poison moth flight and it doesnt deal every bit of damage that it would have in a hit. it’s more an amout of damage specific to health iirc. similar to bleed. it’s cool tho
I hope they gives us more larva tears for how often we will be respecing when we find insane new weapons we want to try. The new weapon types look freaking insane. Like where were these animations in the base game holy crap.
I want to see rot and poison expanded on in the DLC. More weapons with these status effects, and more items that compliment them, for many different build options. I saw that some of what I want was already revealed, here's hoping for more.
It probably is because most people don't realize that's how buffs are they're multiplicative. I've seen people incorrectly assume that two 10% buffs equal 20%. And really it's (1.10x)(1.10x) not 1.10x+1.10x
My question is do all these new items carry over to the base game? Can I use those new skills and buffs against someone like maliketh or Malenia in the base game?
@@sacredwarrior2681 Ya Miyazaki said in interviews that the DLC difficulty would be comparable to late game areas of the main game, so thats not surprising. But yes if you are a newb I recommend playing and building a character through the main game first. Which obviously you have to do anyways because you have to defeat Radahn and Mohg to enter the DLC.
Yea it’s cool how FSW lets you play with broken OP weapons these days where 95% of the rest of the builds and weapons are obsolete thanks to the 5% of easy mode crap they give us. FSW tip toeing around an easy mode slider lmao
Then just don't use it then? There's tons of ways of making Souls games easier ever since DS1 and it's a great option for casual gamers who want to make the game easier & be more enjoyable. If you want it to be harder, there's NG+ saves that you can download online.
