With greater range, faster climb, reduced fuel costs, a lower noise footprint, added safety systems, and a more luxurious cabin, Avanti EVO is yet another step forward. Revel in the performance of the fastest twin turboprop in the world, exceeding 400KTAS - faster than many jets and at a fraction of the direct running costs. An Avanti pilot once gave me a brass hat pin which I've worn with pride. I have two 1/32 models of the Avanti II, one of which I made a pair of winglets a la Evo. The scimitar propellers are too complex for me. :[
We have two real Avantis at our airport and the sounds are always chilling. This video turned me on to that wonderful Sinead song.
the most advanced twin turboprop by far. Contrats Piaggio for such an incredible plane!!
In my opinion, this is the most beautiful and powerful turbo plane as of today, and love the intro music which makes it unique.
Unique elegance in the sky! Blue skies from The Flight Level!
I have taken a test flit in this! It flys like it looks! You even can hear what passenger are saying!
Snazzy, looks silky smooth and responsive from the cockpit, I bet it`s nice to pilot this one ;)
A sculpture that can fly...
Fantástic!!
I love the design of these planes, I would often hear the earlier model coming out of City Airport in London. The distinctive sound meant we had enough time to dash out to admire the remarkable design. I will listen out for the new ones, though I see they have worked to reduce the sound footprint. I love the design either way - a dinstinctive aesthetic that really does define the ideas of form & function.
It's nice from you defining its sound just "distinctive", i'd call it a penetrating buzz, but i've heard it's very quiet from inside the cabin due to the pushing props leaving all the noise behind.
The new EVO is actually quieter than a King Air 300/350, and the Collins Proline21 flight deck is the best in its class. Great airplane with range speed and comfort now.
What an exceptional airplane!!
This beautiful music track does not need a tacky video to distract us ... will they ever learn ;)
So beautiful... it makes my heart race watching it fly.
jrfoleyjr
I agree with you.the starship was the same, graceful and elegant.
Cheers from France.
The Beechcraft Starship is incomparabel with any other plane, it's unique! One of a kind! Burt Rutan invented these!
Beautiful!
Beautiful Aircraft !!!
Forza Italia 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Absolutely beautiful.
Saw the Ferrari branded P-180 land in Briland (N. Eleuthera) a couple years back. Like a UFO landed from outer space, the whole airport stopped and gasped. Gorgeous!
Awesome video man
Just magnificent.
Proprio un bellissimo aereo
The best in his class !
I loooove it !
So beautiful
Very very nice airplane, i love engines, thank you so much for all ! 👍👍👍
Thank Piaggio not us. It is a beauty!
All the best to you as well
Nice video, thanks
Great video. I really enjoyed it!
This plane is so beautiful, i want one of those planes just for me xD
Outstanding aircraft, no question.
agree!
Hi, I flew serial #1007 for 13 years, for a total of 4,400 hours!Best airplane I have ever had my hands on, brilliant design, fuel efficient, quiet cabin, SUPER performer, gentle during the stalls, (no simulator in my day for this airplane), great for short fields and our best speed was 402 knots true airspeed with still some ITT (inter-turbine temperature to go!). I just cannot give this airplane enough praise. I'm too old now and retired, so I don't fly anymore, but would love to go for a ride in a new Avanti EVO. Avanti = forward or onward.SHUMBA
The Giorgio Moroder of Planes. The plane of the future, even now.
A unique design!
Belo Piaggio, maravilhoso!!!
belo belo
i am gonna buy one soon
Belisamo ❤
This is such a beautiful video and an incredible aircraft, maybe in my next life i'll own one.
In your next life You'll fly a Starship by Beechcraft!
Ineke Mateman I'd rather have the Piaggio :-)
Now, you have nothing!
Ineke Mateman LOL
Great video to watch with the sound turned off. Music just does not do this aircraft justice. Classical would have been a much better match. Something Italian of course.
would love to hear one of the great tenors with this
Zucchero would be great
I love Italian. Lamborghini, Ducati, and Piaggio.
The best
طائرة جميلة
amazing ITALIAN airplane :D
thats one hot sexy futuristic looking aircraft. eye catching interior and fancy avionics
Belíssimo Carlos Portugal
David, I know they have sold Piaggio Avanti's here in the US, am not stupid! Am talking about the EVO variant and as far as I know none have been sold here.
Very good news, thanks.
Bello avión Italiano
It's a pity they didn't change the avionics. The Proline 21 is a bit old now. My choice would be Honeywell's Primus Apex.
Can evo model take off and land on unpaved or grass runways? Is extra fuel tankage available as an option? Are higher power engines available as an option for improved takeoff and climb performance?
I'm amazed at this video from a marketing standpoint. I hope whoever put this together did not charge poor Piaggio for their efforts. First of all, the pop music needs to go away. It's annoying. If I were considering this aircraft, I would want to know how it sounds back in the paying seats, what are the creature comforts and communications/refreshments available. I would want to see it flown close to maximum range and altitude on some sort of example flight with all seats occupied. Show us views out the window but do not dwell upon the beauty of the landscape too much. Show us something this airplane does that is different, such as short-field performance. Finally, wrap it all up with favorable operating costs, and you just might have a sale.
Good point. Will pass on your comments.
My thoughts, exactly! A very poor video.
Great video, just shame about the music. Each to their own I guess. Would have been nice to actually here the plane itself.
Bueno, lástima por la música
Looks like Genoa airport ☺
Seriously I love this aircraft but couldn't deal with the music...jeeeze
Mmm that is a tasty plane
I wonder if they could put together a 150-seat intercontinental version as a proof-of-concept
wouldn't that be nice?
If I ever fly this Evo, jet airliner pilots will crap their pants by seeing a reversed turboprop flying by their side a bit.
I want one!! Seriously!!! Anyone??
9 total? 7 Passengers?
WHAT MUSIC IS THAT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO OF THAT AIRCRAFT AND THE NAME OF THIS CANTORA ????. PLEASE REPORT ME!
Sinead O'Connor Since You've Been Gone
Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U
Do they still make these? They don't answer inquiries from their website or phone message for the North America office.
Jason Vargo yes, brand new model, 8 million US and you can have one
can I have one, too? :)
Have they sold any? I've only seen one in Europe and none here is the US. Too bad if the design is dying because of lack of product support from Italy.
Saw one today at EDDW
Great! I don't think they have sold any here in the US though.
there'plenty of these planes in US as well, go google or watch the videos on your right.
A King Air is cheaper to operate!
B747guy
Good evening, which 74 do you fly just for my curiosity....?
The 744 , 748 ? Cheers from the French alps!!!
Beautiful but how can plane take off
Because of aerodynamics!
With a little bit of back pressure, she lifts right off the ground.
Finn Alexander magic!
bipola telly hahaha
Delta L/D
Or maybe it is because the engine is taking the air in the whole at the front of the engine and behind it let the air go out
The propellers are facing the wrong way. I am surprised its not flying backwards
Couldn't pick a better song?
Airbourne hammer head shark
Get rid of the music.
Hides the sound of the aircraft.
U$ 7.000.000 .-
Ufffffff.... Imposible...
for such a beautiful aircraft to have such an archaic panel is terrible. when they created the EVO, they should of went with the New g3000 or g1000 nxi panel.
I'll make sure they are looking at these comments and share your point of view!
I agree with Brian M. on his point. This is a beautiful aircraft (interior, exterior, everything). That said, the cockpit and flight deck layout on the EVO is really a let down. I cannot believe they opted to go with such an archaic avionic suite when the Collins Rockwell Proline Fusion was available. Not only that, the Piaggio's main competitor (King Air 350) has migrated to the Proline Fusion. Piaggio really needs to revamp that cockpit ASAP, as the Proline 21 just ain't it!
nobody buys them anymore
Not true - it's a great aircraft

There are several obstacles I suppose. One is that the design is too "different". Look at all the small business jets available nowadays; you need to look twice to tell them apart - which the corporate market likes. Another one is price: you can buy a used real jet for the same money and join the club. Then there is the fact that Piaggio simply cannot offer the service and maintenance facilities the main competitors can offer, in particular in the US - which is the biggest market. Planes don't sell on beauty and design alone; in the corporate market there are other deciding factors to reckon with.
