    great video, been working on chillers for for years now and i thought you guy did a fantastic job and explained very well!
    Only small recommendation i would give is when removing the filter, i would keep a few bolts on and crack open the cover to drain it. In the unfortunate case the valves aren't holding and the heat exchanger is still pressurized, that cover will blast right off and cause an injury. Other than that keep up the good work.

    thank the video Sir.
    what kind of detergents (cleaning agents) you used for seawater (soft scale) like in the video?

    • @marine-knowledge-basha
      @marine-knowledge-basha  2 года назад

      Usually we can use any cleaning general cleaning (enviroclean/normal detergent) chemicals which dont have acid content.. as if u use any acid content chemicals it may damage seal rings.
      Check for makers manual for any specific cleaning liquid.

    After how many months or running hours must the heat exchanger be cleaned

    Thanks for replying 🙂 brother...
    Now currently we are doing mostly plate heat exchanger servicing work only.. its very hard to remove the bolts and nuts.we are removing manually only. Brother is there any easy to to remove the bolt?? Or any less price for equipment for removing bolt(55mm)??

    Would please tell us how to calculate the DELTA T in plate heat exchanger sir

    • @marine-knowledge-basha
      @marine-knowledge-basha  2 года назад +1

      Inlet temperature of cooling water T1
      Outlet temperature of cooling water T2
      T2-T1=delta t
      That means the amount of heat gained by the cooling water is called delta T..

    What is hard scale and soft scale ?
    Purpose of bypass valve
    What chemical used to clean plate type sir?
    Is there any difference shell and plate type fresh water generator?. Apart from design

    • @marine-knowledge-basha
      @marine-knowledge-basha  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your query sir...
      # soft scale will be like sludge which can be removed by mechanical cleaning.
      # when this sludge get heated it will form into scale which we call it as hard scale.
      # Bypass valve is to adjust the jacket water flow to fwg.
      # you can refer with the makers manual as each maker refers differnt chemicals.
      # shell and tube handles pressure but less volume but plate type handles high volume and less pressure..
      Hope this reply will satisfy your query..
