And the guy is one of guitar player of Sodagreen , Kay . He and Qingfeng are more like family than a normal friend.
Qingfeng hasn't marriaged and he spends a lot of time living with Kay's family , Kay's wife and son are welcome and love Qingfeng just like Kay does . Qingfeng just like another father to Kay's son.
Kay is studying abroad in Boston these year , but he came back this time just for Qingfeng for the performance . This is another part makes this performance being so touching.

You're right, the guitarist is one of Sodagreen and he is currently studying in Berklee during the break of Sodagreen. He flied to China just for this performance, which is a huge surprise to the audience also.
This song is just composed around Chinese New Year, which he mentioned in social media that he composed three songs during the holiday. He chose to sing this as the last song not only because this is like a review to the Singer journey. What's more is that the first song he sang in Singer was Swallow Nest - his own song, and he wishes the last one also be his own song too. By the way, this song is so new that just published today after the show and the first MV for this song includes the snapshots for his Singer journey too.

FYI, the one who hugged him so tight is Kay Liu, the guitarist of Sodagreen. Their relationship is more like family than friends. Today is Greeny’s 1st year after he went solo, he has been through soooooooo much throughout this year, without his band members by his side. Maybe that’s why he cried so hard when he had his closest friend standing next to him, playing the guitar for him...😭😭😭

The final song he sang was an original he composed while he was in this competition. Its hard to put into words how emotional the song was. It was a summary of his journey in this competition and how it has made him reflect on all these years put into his singing career. All these years, he never had it easy as a singer. Back then, when he released his first song - 小情歌, he received a huge backlash from the mandopop industry. No one could accept that a guy voice could be so tender and feminine. There was a lot of self doubt. At some point he wanted to quit singing.
That's why there was a few parts that sounded like 小情歌.
Anyway I wanted to point out these few parts which are particularly emotional:

The guitarist is called Liu Jia Kai, and as you know, he's been with Wu Qingfeng and Sodagreen for more than a decade, and he's , according to Wu Qingfeng, a distinguished guest for him at the performance, so yes, that's why they're both emotional in the end.
The guitarist that hugged him in the end is the electric guitarist in Sodagreen. They are really really good friend and i will say family. He currently lives with his family and pursues education in USA. He came back just for Greeny.
One of the sentence of ＜歌頌者＞ is extracted from Little Love Song ＜小情歌＞, Sodagreen's most popular song released in 2006. The original lyrics was "I think I am suitable to be a singer". After he went through so much this year, he rewrote the lyrics into "I think I am worth being a singer." Everyone burst into tears.
am I the first? am I the first to comment??? omg!! I was so surprised!! YES!! the one who came in playing the guitar is one of the member in sodagreen and this I think is the first time for them to perform together on stage for almost 2/3 years after they announced to take a rest. I was heart-broken too when I saw qingfeng cried and at the same time so happy that his friend is there for him and hugging him!! I believe the last song is qingfeng's new creation because he talked about how he felt nervous for being the centre of attention again and how he (and sodagreen) have been in many people's memory but at the same time he is happy and encouraged when he sees people like his performances. He quoted the lyrics in one of sodagreen's famous song "I think I am very suitable to be a singer". For translation, I will leave it to others ;)

Wu Quinfeng wrote the lyrics for 'ugly beauty'. They are good friends for many years. This very last song was written by Wu Quinfeng during the 'singer' shows. He put every piece of memories in this song. The guitarist is the member 'soda green' band. He took a couple days off from his master degree study fly over attending Wu 's performance. It means a lot to Wu Quinfeng and Soda Green band's fans.

About the second song, the Chinese title can be directly translated as something close to “Singer” or even “Glorifier”, but the official English title is actually “Return in Songs”. I believe it is a quote from Tagore’s poem: “The world has kissed my soul with its pain, asking for its return in songs”. It is a beautiful title and describes Qingfeng as a songwriter and singer very well... T T
Oh and I forgot to mention that this song was specifically created for this show, to summarize his feeling and express his gratefulness to everyone that accompanied him during this journey, everyone including his team, the team of the show, and the audience. He said that because there is people willing to listen and understand to him, he has got a reason to sing/glorify.
Jolin and Greeny are good friend in real life. Jolin even said "Who doesn't love Qing Feng? I almost want to kiss him. p.s. I'm just like a pround old mother." on Instegram after the show recorded.

I am also a fan of Greeny. And I think he writes the last song as a memory of the experience in the Singer show as well as the experience as a singer for a long time. He mixed the singer song with one of his famous songs which published almost 10 years ago when he was in the Sodagreen band.
