- I wired everything up for a first power test. I have not used any of this hardware before, so it's as new to me as it is to you. I was so happy to see it all function as intended.

Motors (10000 kV version): www.banggood.c...
Props: 65mm King Kong (drilled to 1.5mm)
Congrats! I'm the fellow on RCGroups that had the 3S Ultrix and messaged you about this setup. I'm excited to watch your progress!
That's great, now I know how to wire up for 2 motors.. those crossover recievers are really good, especially when you consider the size.
You inspired my 3s Top RC Hobby P51 Mustang, you may have just inspired a dual motor tiny plane haha...I'm the same Cheggers1973 as in the RC Groups just incase you didn't know...
I really like your content Mate!
Ps, I have a "Pipe" from the 90's just like yours, wink wink haha..I look for it now in your vids haha
Guess I don't need to hide it now (heh heh).
Loved the Mustang. Looking forward to any more mad scientist projects you come up with. Happy flying!
@@Doggeslife nah, no hiding needed 😆, I'm well pleased you like my efforts to make my Stang 3s, I hope I can do a good vid showing its speed next week, the new 1408 comes tomorrow..
Have a nice Sunday evening chap!.. it's good to connect with you!
Lucky you checked the Power to the RX before applying power..
BTW.. Can't beat Santana....
Yes indeed! ruclips.net/video/uEs3bGY_SAU/видео.html
@@Doggeslife Thanks for the Link. Hadn't seen that vid before... Had my feet moving early in the AM.
Nice dual motor setup. Those Micro Receivers are awesome!
I have a question for you since e-flite are one of the worst companies I've ever seen for lack of information on their products.
I believe I've seen you use their micro prop adapters that work with a 1.5mm shaft.
They appear to have a couple of steps for different diameter prop hubs.
Do you know the diameter of those steps?
I ordered some of the E-flite Prop Adapter with Setscrew 1.5mm EFLM1933.
I can't find that basic information anywhere...go figure ;-)
The long, narrow part is 3mm and the first step is 4mm. There's a narrow one following at 5.47mm but that may not be for props.
To mount Eachine/Volantex props I have to first ream them with a 4mm or #23 drill bit, starting with smaller sizes first and working my way up to 4mm. Necessary due to the hex-shaped hole they have.

@@Doggeslife Thanks much for the info and the image diagram, saved it ;-)
@GroundControlRC . Nice thing about these couplers is that they use the same screw size as the plastic spinners on the 400mm micros. That's how i am able to still use the stock spinner and props on brushless direct-drive builds.
@@Doggeslife I wondered if that screw could be used for spinners.
That's great as I'm wanting to upgrade the Motor on my XK A280 P51D and that may allow me to use the spinner.
