Been waiting for this lid for a while now. Good to see it finally making its way to the shops. Great review, thanks for all the info. I always send my riding mates to your channel if they are looking for a new lid.
Appreciate the support 💪 We've used largely the same metrics for determining weight scores for a long time now. The current pool of modular helmets are just a bit heavier than they used to be, that's why even the top performers only get 3 / 3.5 stars.
I've been waiting on this since I've been sporting the RPHA 90S Balian for 3 years. It's a lot more money for my Noela version. I hope it doesn't have the same problem with the inner visor as the regular RPHA 91. I face planted on a rock with my 90S and it stayed intact.
Generally speaking, flip-up helmets are going to be heavier, a bit less aerodynamic, and their visors will not be prepared for tear-offs. However, this doesn't mean that you can't wear them on track days, but they will be less optimal compared to race helmets for example.
@@Championhelmets Then what solid helmet would you recomend? I am looking for a quiet helmet in higher speeds. I currently have RPHA 50 2015y (Over 100km/h a lot of noise gets in) Riding a sports touring 140~160 km/h
In all honesty, the C5 Carbon is a very good helmet, but it pretty much disqualifies itself by having such an enormous price tag, making it hard to put the C5 Carbon over any other high-end modular solely based on pricing.
Your channel definitely deserves more attention! I cant thank you enough for reviewing helmets thoroughly for us! Rpha 91 carbon might be the one for me.
Thankyou, this chanel really help me buy helmet according to performance not brand. Now we know hjc perform better thn arai today.

3 stars for 1599 grams? Seemed a little harsh.
Great review by the way. Best channel for checking out helmets in my opinion

What visor problem?
Interesting video thanks
Great video. When will your new best modular helmets video come out?
What is the weight difference between "regular" RPHA 91 and RPHA 91 carbon...?
Mainly the material. One is a fiberglass composite and the other one carbon. No other big differences. Was the video helpful?
@@Championhelmetshe is asking for WEIGHT difference. Not material difference
Would be nice to get an answer. Would buy the carbon version but what’s ist the weight difference ?
130 grams

Most circuits demand full face helmets.

I just bought the rpha 91. And I found it very noisy even side gusts were very noticeable with this helmet I’m very disappointed with this helmet
Maybe it’s about the shape of your head which not fit the helmet. Try neotech3 maybe better fit.

Better than C5 carbon?!
