This Battle reminded me my days of battling from the 1980's on east coast through the 2000's. It was all about who was better at that moment of challenge. It didn't matter what one had on or where. I have nvr seen MADD Chadd out of robot character but man he won from the dialogue alone. But he is right, ppl who claim dancing only do it bc they lack creativity and innovation. Party dances do not count if that’s all your going to do. Chadd has his style and it’s cool. But to get that mad let’s me know that he was intimidated to get beat by a robot but Chadd hits were harder more visible and pops were earthquake. So no where in the battle did Mike do better except he has definitely been in the lab working on his facial expressions

King mike missed a lot of beats, particularly towards the end. I was frustrated that he was lecturing chadd on dancing, just do your thing and let the judges (in this case the crowd) decide. Both danced well but chadd hit those beats and had flawless technique, even though he a less dynamic style he does everything possible with it to close the gap without breaking the style. Chadd took this for me - dynamics without pure cleanliness dilute the animated feel I expect from popping

Although creative, hit popping skills were weak, waving repetitive (if you want to get technical), his hits were too early no matter how I look at it he was all off beat and it ruins it on top of that stank ass attitude that was completely uncalled for a no business in a battle. chad completely destroyed the guy. His energy read nothing but negativity, he was consistently off beat, and fooled around way too much with impersonations/taunts that you cannot even begin to call dance or battling when he is running his mouth. His hits were so weak and that day he randomly calks out chad, dude didn't even battle that whole day and chad did like 12 different performances when this dude called him out. Mike had that obvious funk/groove appeal, but when you really pay attention and see a lot of battles its clear to see that Chad is on a WHOLE nother level than Mike who "skill" in dance is amateur at best. Even on E Madd Chadd brought power, control, he was clean and had a solid concept. A lot of ppl sleep on his robotic animation form of pop because its not too flashy or eye grabbing. First off,this is the clearest footage I've seen on this battle..you can really see both dancers here..while I still think Chadd took this,Mike"s second pass should prove that he was popping and CAN hit when he wants to while.Chadd"s first round should've settled any questions on whether or not he dances with his robotics cause he CLEARLY does! Again,the clean footage here allows for everyone to see precisely what's what..but still, I'm wondering why King Mike called out Chadd in the first place?was there an ongoing. Beef between them or just a spur of the moment thing?
Chadd has weaker energy, but his animation level are high, but mike are animated too, yet he's dancing and got that funk, he's hitting hard as fuck

chad completely destroyed the guy. His energy read nothing but negativity, he was consistently off beat, and fooled around way too much with impersonations/taunts that you cannot even begin to call dance or battling when he is running his mouth. His hits were so weak and that day he randomly calks out chad, dude didn't even battle that whole day and chad did like 12 different performances when this dude called him out. Mike had that obvious funk/groove appeal, but when you really pay attention and see a lot of battles its clear to see that Chad is on a WHOLE nother level than Mike who "skill" in dance is amateur at best. Even on E Madd Chadd brought power, control, he was clean and had a solid concept. A lot of ppl sleep on his robotic animation form of pop because its not too flashy or eye grabbing. You have to really pay attention and see where he moves each sound through his body. He shows elevation, vibrations, drops, skips, isolations I mean the dude is crazy. It is just ridiculous! For these two poppers with different sub styles, its all about connecting sound and body. And if Mike can't hit...if he can't get a beat on point...he is simply not a king and had no business acting the way he did when up against such a powerful and respectable dancer like Chad.

People probably can say Mike had it, but so what, he ain't got my respect as a dancer. If mike just danced without the trash coming out of his mouth, he'd earn my respect. Respect to Madd Chadd for keeping it kool and did his thing. He doesnt need to prove anything. To any style of dancers, no matter how good you may be or think you are, let your moves define your skill and let it do the talking.
