- Here's what @barbee0913 and I picked up at the Chicago Toy Show! Did you attend a show recently? What did you pick up? BTW, I left in some of the realities of shooting these videos with a toddler in the house- ha ha!

I had a LUCKY LOCKET KIDDLE - probably in 1966! I loved my KIDDLE and I wore the locket. My playmates had them too!🌼
Anytime you come away with a Kiddle, I think it is a success ! Our Toy show's don't start until Fall.

I did not buy much at all, (video coming) But!~ Deron and I went with Dorie (Dorie's Dollies) and her husband and Ela Avar (channel same name) and we did a Scavenger Hunt, sending one another photos during the Show, running in to one another from time to time. So THAT! was really fun.
That Scavenger Hunt was a favorite part of the day for us!❤

Sorry we couldn’t go. I had a doctors appointment the next day out of town and didn’t want to travel two days in a row. Lena is getting so big. She lives in a giant toy store. Lucky girl. Sorry you didn’t find more. You can save for the next show.

Thanks for letting me know a out the kiddles being in pendants. I got some at an estate sale and next time I find them I will look for the containers. The Doctors were my favorite although where is 13?

The 'five buildings' thing was a bit odd. And I totally agree about the Funkos.
I was lucky, tho, I collect Star Trek and there was a guy with several I didn't have and at a great price! ❤️
i have noticed a trend in the past few years of toy shows not have hardly any "girl toys". it is like the show promoters don't even think about any toys except male coded ones. i have seen this at every recent toy show we've attended.
I was quite disappointed with the July show and probably will stick to the April and October shows. There was not a great turnout vendor wise. And I agree the air conditioning was not sufficient seeing as it was a selling point
