- Jennifer Lopez makes a trip down memory lane and visits her old school that she grew up in, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. After meeting with old friends, Jennifer later visited her childhood home with her sister. The whole time Jennifer had a film crew with her to document her visits with her sister and her children, Max and Emme
The owner of the house insisted, he reassured:”I don’t know who she is”. Incredible that Jlo and her sister just standed with the man to pose for a picture, and after the picture they didn’t even say goodbye, thanks or “have a good day” to the old man they posed with. They just kept walking and chatting with each other as if they just posed with an animal or a statue or something of that sort. Cero human connection, courtesy and politeness from Jenny from the block.
It’s all about the hype of getting all those pictures for publication and to sell the idea that she is really from the block, that she comes from the Bronx and stuff, all courtesy of her entourage and impressive PR marketing team. That is all that seems to matter to her by the way she handled herself here.
You say what you see but you don't know what happened in between before the filming or the picture plus it was being nice with the dude with the old man what do you expect they don't owe him nothing it was nice of them take a picture of him because he didn't even know what he was talking about. Yeah I need to keep you up negative comments to yourself.

I have a question. What’s so funny about this “ I don’t know her “ comment? I’m asking because I never found it to be funny from day 1. In fact I knew exactly what she meant by it. It’s sad that she felt the need to address ridiculous comments such as yours. Her comment was turned into something it wasn’t. If somebody asks me how someone is that I’ve never hung out with a day in my life I would probably say the same or something like that. She attended dance school and a friend of mine Des ran that dance school during those times. He has old pictures of her and all. He was even also on one of the documentaries they did on her life during her first few yrs of stardom. She slept at the dance school when she could and she untimely moved in with Des at some point. You should keep your mouth shut about things you clearly no nothing about.
She was on her own after her mom kicked her out at age 18 .
Well this neighborhood did not look like this in the 70s and 80s… y’all forget New York is not what it once was. And she did get kicked out and live in a dance studio for a year.

I was under the impression she grew up in a tenement apartment complex or something worse. This is a decent house and they actually owned it. She also went to private schools. She grew up better than a lot of people I know.
It’s a 5 bedroom house, where she said she had to share a bed with her sister, and Lopez herself said she received dancing and singing lessons throughout her childhood. That’s not abject poverty, and it must have been extremely difficult to dance with all those holes she said she had in her shoes

I’m 74 years old and grew up (until I was 10) in a two bedroom, 1 bath, attached, very old city home, with 2 brothers, 2 invalid (one comatose) grandparents and my parents. The dining area was my parents’ bedroom and my two younger brothers and I actually did share a bedroom. I went to school dressed in cousins’ hand-me-downs and began working when I was 12 years old. There was no money for singing or dancing lessons, but I bought an old guitar and taught myself to play. I worked and studied vigorously, skipping a grade in school, before paying my own way through college. I would post a picture of my childhood home, but after we moved, the area became blighted and where that building once stood there is nothing more than an inner city vacant lot. So, growing up in a way some may deem underprivileged is not difficult to understand at all. Live well, stay strong and prosper.

That's how old school mechanical cameras used to sound.... taking a bunch of pictures in a row really fast.
The microphones are exaggerating the sound tho too... same with all the other sounds in the background, like how loud the keys sound when they're getting to the vehicle, (*for example).
That’s not old school mechanical cameras. Real photographers use manual settings on their professional digital cameras. That’s the shutter on the camera. New cameras make the same noise on a rapid fire mode. They’re taking 10-to 20 pictures at once by holding the button down
