I re-did the ones I did in the not so good way and I cant believe the hours I spent making two seperate files for lights and darks! I can not believe the time you saved me and the quality you taught me in this video! Thank you!!!!!!!! and wow what a visual difference!
I can't wait until kittl makes an app... Only being able to work on desktop is not conducive to busy mom entrepreneur... Need 15 minutes here and there and my phone in canva is key lolol
Hi Jay, thanks for the videos on how to use Kittl. I have had Kittl for almost two years. I will go to Kittl for certain text effects, but tend to use Canva if I can as it is more intuitive and easy for me. I often find myself getting annoyed when in Kittl but I know it can do so much more than Canva. One question I have is when I am trying to make a text taller or shorter, and use the Distort feature to do it, how can I easily know that the left and right side of the text are exactly straight up and down? Is there some sort of guide lines or guide box in Kittl that would help instead of just eyeballing it? Just to clarify, before choosing to go to the text transform, I tried using the line height up and down arrow and no matter the setting, it does not change the text at all. This is on the Libre Baskerville font. Thank you!
To manipulate text like that, you would need to either rasterize it (turn it into an image), and then stretch it - but i'll try to see if i can figure out what you mean. 99% of the time though, stretching text is blasphemy and should not be done. Thanks for watching!
EverBee absolutely does calculate the fees on your shipping price. Just add a number in the calculator while looking at the pie chart or the fees totals on the right and you will see it change immediately as you type :)
@jayswayworks I just checked again under Etsy Costs it only lists Etsy Listing fees, Transaction fee and a payment processing fee. They do not list the fee Etsy charges sellers charging shipping.
did you click on the 3rd effect option first? The 3rd 'A'? Take your time and maybe set the playback speed to 0.75 so you don't have to pause it as you watch - hope this helps!
I’ve been looking for a way to do this! Only thing is I just tried to use the ink drop and I got nothing. I followed the video, so I’m not sure what went wrong 😕
I’m not sure- but just make sure your outline is the same color as your background (white or light seems to work best, but I have also had success with darker colors). :)
Well, the honest answer is that you need to be honest with yourself. I am a good graphic designer by traditional design standards, but learning how to make t-shirt designs that people actually want was a challenge in the beginning. Letting go of the romanticism of people loving my designs as much as I do was hard to do too. Also, pull up your designs in search results and show them to people you know and ask them which designs are their top 3 favourite on the page of results. If yours aren’t in their top 3 or even top 5, then you need to go back to the drawing board. Good design doesn’t mean people want it. Of course though, how your design is “packaged” can make or break the listing too (mockups), and then obviously SEO can matter as well for getting eyes on your prize. Hope this all makes sense! :) Thanks so much for watching- hope I gained your subscription!
@jayswayworks thanks for the lengthy reply with specifics. I appreciate that. I am in a Christian niche so I get a lot of I like that but I'm not that religious so I wouldn't buy it when I show designs to friends and family. I do price my items higher so maybe I'll do like a few weeks where the 1 day sales are more inline with that 24 to 26$ range instead of 36$ range
I'm not sure your teacher example works since it is said "custom teacher sweatshirt" the customers can edit the name and outline maybe not automated in that case.
You should know how to do it without automation too! And it would take you what, 3 minutes for a $10-15 USD profit? That’s equal to $200-300 USD per hour in profit!

I guess it'll depend on how much functionality you're willing to sacrifice for the app version, but it's a great idea!
@@jayswayworks I don't think it has to... Canva's app has nearly every feature the design version has

Thank YOU for another awesome comment!
Jay I have learned more about Kittl from you than the last 2 years by myself. Could you maybe do a kittl shortcuts/ tips and tricks vid?
Awesome! Yes I sure can! Thanks for watching :)
You can add an outline to any design in Canva, too. Also, Everbee doesn't calculate the fee Etsy charges for shipping.

Thank you for showing us how to remove the script outline!!! I have been want to learn this technique for months!!❤
You're so welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
How do we get rid of that sticker effect to make it look like it belongs on a tshirt?
You can use the "magic eraser"
thanks
No problem!
Jay, I have clicked on the image but I don't get the border option it only shows shadow?

Can you please show us the correct and incorrect placement of a graphic and wording?
Will do!
What if you feel like your designs are good, but not making as many sales as you thought you would 😂😂😂
