I remember when Lord Jamar was talking about him on his podcast back when he was called Aaron Cook$. Obviously Busta promoted him and Roc Marci featured him on Marcielago. He had the standout verses on FIAAG2. I’m glad he’s finally getting recognition.

Reasonable Drought is definitely my fav project of this year... And actually my favorite release I heard in a long ass time, had the same feeling as listening to Flygod/Butcher On Steroids/Reject 2 for the first time.
One More Hit is fucking amazing, who else would open a verse with, "Stove Jesus I was cooking for three days and then it rose up out the pot"?

Found this dude off Westide Gunn's new album and saw everyone talking about Stove and this project. I listened to it and I was NOT dissapointed. This album is super nice and I do agree that is style is def his own. Rap comin' back in 2020!
Literally one of my favorite projects this year. He can rap his ass off. His chorus game is top notch. His references and name calling is hilarious as hell when you catch them.

I've had my eye on Aaron Cooks ever since Busta Rhymes started promoting him like four years ago. It's awesome to see him finally getting some shine
Not shade to westside Gunn and I love everything Griselda puts out but Stove God stole the show on FGIAAG 2. His verse on Jose Canseco is got my attention and I immediately bought his album after listening to that one verse.
Gunn actually wanted that. He said he put him on 3 tracks because he felt like he didn’t get the recognition he deserved for this album. Lo and behold no one can stop talking about it now. Flygod definitely great at giving artists their shine.

In regards to his singing, I would compare it to Mos Def with his pitch and vocal tone.

Sean Young Yeah I hear you, they used their voices differently, opting to rap over harder production. Those comparisons are better than the one Ken mentioned in the video.
