Hot 97 didn't show any support for Griselda on their come up. If they were from the South they would have been on the station 24/7 - 7 days a week. Blaming 50 was a nice little deflection but Ebro and that station played a major role in bringing down not only NY hip hop but East Coast Hip Hop altogether.

It’s true that a lot of underground rappers don’t be having clean versions of their music up. You either need it up already or send it straight to the DJ. I don’t think Griselda ever cared about the radio play though lol. But yeah, you gotta be have cleans if you want radio play. And I’ve personally spoken to a lot of artists who said they don’t even make them lol so yeah, I agree, Hot97 is terrible with musically supporting NY artists. But many artists don’t put themselves in positions to get played as well.
