    I still prefer RUclips channels with real human narrators. Channels like this are ok because they are presenting interesting products, and concepts, but very often the technical details are nonsense as with this video during the Dream Chaser segment.

    Wake board riders often fall into the water. What happens when a wing boarder falls off his wing...particularly on take-off and landing when parachutes are useless.

    • @XRakkgruntX
      @XRakkgruntX 4 месяца назад

      The rider pulls the rip cord on the parachute he’s wearing. It’ll never be allowed in controlled airspace.

    • @terrybickford4453
      @terrybickford4453 2 месяца назад

      I have an idea for the safety on takeoff, have the board on a shuttle, which keeps the rider safe until he lifts off, also remember his feet are attached to the board. Just like they used to do with some airplanes and rockets in the beginning. The wheels just drop off. Then he has a parachute or wheels to land with, which ever he chooses. Also, though there is the problem with flipping over but then there is the parachute.

    But but isn't hydrogen manufactured by using more electricity than the return sum of the hydrogen returns? And the manufacturing of the specialized vehicle pollute more than the vehicle could possibly save over its expected life time? Do not the solar panels and the wind energy generators pollute more in their lifetime than they save? Then why do it? Ohhhhh I know it makes you feel good and you also might work in those government funded industries funded by poor people's tax dollars. Vehicles are costing so much and it looks like car manufacturers are in the financial business anyway. Interesting isn't it. Can't wait for those 15 minute cities and travel to other cities is outlawed. Welcome to our no so distant future all you ostriches.

      Really curious as to how you came to that conclusion on the emissions intensity of renewable energy. What kind of calculations did you run, can you show your work?
      More specifically, what pollution are you referring to as being produced by renewable energy? I assume you're referring to manufacturing primarily, but are your estimates taking into account the discrepancy in future manufacturing emissions when the energy required for manufacturing is being produced by renewables?

    • @LloydBrooks-ru2ug
      @LloydBrooks-ru2ug 5 месяцев назад +1

      there are many ways to produce hydrogen, so, NO. And over the life of the solar panels they save much more than they cost. Much much more.

      We had the "greenest" energy. Biofuel. Then they replaced it with electric cars which are one of the worst ideas ever. And all because a bunch of "experts" thought they should use only corn to make the fuel even though any organics can be converted into ethanol.
      You could literally make fuel out of grass clippings but no, we "needed" to support the corn industry.

      Так же как и электромобили. Они ещё более вредны для окружающей среды. Если учесть полный цикл. Здесь и производство самих авто, и аккумуляторов для них. И лития для аккумуляторов. Да и производство электроэнергии.... Просто все эти загрязнения вынесены на большие расстояния от места эксплуатации самих электромобилей. А и ещё, до сих пор нет технологий по утилизации и уже тем более переработки литиевых аккумуляторов . Что тоже очень экологически вредны.

    Hydrogen fuel cells release NOx. Not that much at 100°C but not zero pollution. Air is 4/5th Nitrogen, didn't this guy realise? And the vehicles are hybrid with battery, and heavy, because fuel cells ramp power very slowly (warm-up time is what?). All before you ask where the Hydrogen comes from (think methane, by product CO2).
    So innovation or dead end? Ask me in 10 year's time.
