I enhanced the cutter by cutting a screw with the length of the bottel cutter (ca. 23cm each) and added a slot into the wooden inlays. Now, I can store the bottle holder in the cutter and hence it is easy to transport.

What an amazing invention, that bottlecutter. Even to think of it, but as it then turns out not only that the rope or string produced are viable as such and truely gives discarded plastic bottles a long, new life in a wide range of uses, but also that this rope has properties *beyond* normal rope specially crafted for a purpose (say parachord to tie rafters) is simply just pure treasure on top a stroke of genius. They need this contraption in the third world, and you can supply them with it, making their lifes easier as well as initiating the single best shot at cleaning up nature of plastics on a large scale.

Dear Max, thank you for sharing your talent on countless videos. I like the format with firstly a display of use / finished item to give me the idea of what you are about to make followed by the build section. It makes it much easier to follow every part. Regarding recycling plastic, apparently east of Hawaii there is a raft of discarded plastics the size of Texas. That is a damning indictment of mankind’s abuse of this our only home. Your plastic thread cutter is a simple and great idea that will make a small dent in that debt to mother Earth. Well done.

This creation of yours is the most innovative invention I have seen in a while that is, affordable, easy to use and helps with a major issue in a society where pollution is at its all time peak. All of your words were perfectly pronounced so that even with your accent anyone can understand what you are saying. Looking at your video makes me conclude that you do spend time thinking about the little every day things around you that we discard without a second thought. Repurposing what would be even more waste is highly ingenious as well as being aware of the wasteful nature of our modern day life. Being able to combine this recycling to your bushcraft is all the more remarkable. May you continue exploiting your highly creative noodle to come up with other brilliant ideas. Very well done. Kind regards.
