I would like to apologize for showing Bambie's deadname in the video. The reason for this unfortunate fact is my ignorance regarding their legal name change as part of their transition process. If I had known, I wouldn't have exposed it. I sincerely thank all those people who, thanks to their comments, have revealed to us the reality of Bambie. I have considered removing the video because of the respect and admiration I have for Bambie, but I consider that it can be very useful to spread their message to more people and to see what trans and non-binary people have to face in their everyday lives.

honestly with the hate bambi is getting and the vulnerability and how easy it is to target someone like them, i think itd be right to take down the video or atleast cut out the part where their deadname was exposed before it reaches the wrong audience.
I'm just a little confused as to why you wouldn't re-upload the video without their deadname? I mean, it's quite obvious from the comments that people love to take advantage of knowing trans people's deadnames to not so subtly invalidate their identity.. Without the name being in there the message would still be there? (I understand that you wouldn't want to lose all the views etc. and the momentum the vid has so this one may reach more people. It's a tricky choice though, the more people the message is spread to the more people will also know their deadname)

@@Catsgirl32 there are some versions like covers/remixes, not the official version and the name "Anna Linnea Lagerqvist" was mentioned among the songwriters. It was among results of my Google research on the "dead name". I'm trying to say that if her "dead name" is still mentioned in song writing credits, maybe there's not such a problem? BTW, why "Cuntry" if her current name is "Bambie"?

Great video, but why put in their deadname? Legally their name was changed to Bambie Ray Robinson. Not even the law recognises their old name now. No hate at all just throwing it out.
Why not? Even if the name is changed, why should the birth name be erased from history, especially if it's beautiful? Their birth name sounds good. For example, Miley Cyrus officially changed her name too, but it still widely known that her birth name was Destiny Hope

From what I know most trans and non-binary people feel very uncomfortable or painful with their deadname because it's from a time where they were struggling with their identity. So it's often disrespectful to use or reveal their deadname.
