I vote for Chris being in charge. Springer front end, bigger tank with better lines-gold- with an actual emblem. Keep spoke wheels even if you change the size.
Agree with all this, except I'd go for a solid rear paint matched / machine lip with a mag chrome front.

Chris's idea of setting a allotment for the winner to build it is pretty good. Definitely would make it a lot cooler for the winner.

You guys are the reason at 50years of age i bought my first bike. An 06 883r. I've been riding around my small town for months with my screaming eagle exhaust making sweet music. Love the content and always the good vibe you put out as too riding what makes you happy, I'm definitely signing up too win this bike.

Sounds like Chris has it dialed on what should be done. Black springer front end would be sick! Definitely agree with thoughts on the fish tails.

Looks amazing the way it is now. Springer front end would be really cool. Never been a fan of the fish tails and I personally think it would look best with an exhaust similar to the original or maybe 2 separate pipes. Love the content guys!
Umm… Chris could not have taken my thoughts more perfectly then he did describing NOT taking it back to original. I love the black Springer front end (pretty sure i commented that during the 1st video on this bike :). Also… love the idea of either straight or fish tail pipes. Better brakes / more power. Idk… I trust in Chris to build it up correctly.
Let Chris roll with it! He has the creative vision. Springer front end, spoke wheels, maybe a bigger tank. Please dont change the exhaust! Bike sounds perfect!
I vote to let Chris work with the person who wins it. That way, it's a customized bike that the winner wants and gets to experience the blockhead experience firsthand. Possibly do videos on that, too, then that can be content for u guys too going forward!!! Keep it up, block!!
The bike looks great. I would probably go for a slightly larger tank, something a little different (but slimline to compliment the aesthetics). The rear faring needs a little 'less' to show it's ass off, pipes need a twist but don't change the sound! It sounds beautiful! And the bars.....I'm not sold on them...they look great but after the modifications maybe a little lower swept back? Made me laugh this episode, great work guys!
i agree with chris , black springer front end , bigger tank and change out the springer seat to a custom on frame seat.
I agree with Chris. Besides the 16" front wheel. A 19" would be alright on that bike with a simple(gold like the tank) paint job. The slightly bigger front wheel just grabs a little more attention as opposed to more tire.

Chrome springer, bigger tank but with the gold flake, fish tails and chrome primary instead of the belt.
Do a performance chopper! Id do a an fxr style tank, inverted forks, suspension solo seat, t bars, some small bags possibly, new tires, all leds, avon grips, short levers, mini moto x floor boards ++++++++ " Dont even think about it, just do it"
Put a “REAL” H-D Blacked-Out Springer on it, keep the 21” front wheel, keep the h-bars, keep the frame black , and repaint the rear fender to match the gas tank and YES!, keep that gas tank on it! Just need to drill the frame’s tank mounting holes and insert and weld in a threaded bung into the frame tubing!
It really needs an “Original” set of radius stepped pipes from Jesse James and West Coast Choppers!
Put metal flake grips and metal flake seat wrap vinyl on it and paint it to match whatever flake job color (other than gold) to match the rest of it! And put some gold leaf graphics or lettering on the tank!

I like the small gold tank. I like Chris's idea with longer angled pipes but cocktails instead of fishtails. Blacked out springer front end. 👍
A black springer front end sounds cool, and I like the rev on the back. That gallop sounded so good
I prefer the larger tank for usability. I hate those tiny tanks. Also HATE fishtails!

I don't love the little peanut tank or the open primary, but it'll look cool whatever way you guys go with it.
Love the idea of the Springer front end and I like the longer exhaust but maybe the old tulip vase silencer instead and maybe a slightly bigger tank

Chris is spot on …springer from end …I wouldn’t be opposed with a change of color on the tank but the bike is beautiful as is
Mock up a set of 5 gallon tanks with center dash and see what that looks like. Something to cover up the top of the frame right behind the steering head.
That bike is sick the way it is. Minus the tank being loose, leaking, and bolts rubbing rear tire. I dig it.
T bars, stock wide glide front end with shaved lowers, shot gun pipes, black tank with white flames, 1.5” open primary, high mids, jockey shift/foot clutch, 5in ribbed rear fender painted to match the tank.
Anyone who disagrees with this is wrong.
Oh, and black or chrome invader wheels on the front and back

What's with the tiny tank? Only good for riding to the end of your driveway and back.
Peanut tanks were popular on rigid frame choppers. And from talking to people who rode them, by the time you were out of gas, you needed to get off the bike anyways.
The springer front end sounds awesome. But I’m also kind of leaning towards having the winner, tell you how they would like the bike built. WAFFLE HOUSE!

Personally I think a good springer front end would be awesome, but keep the tank as is with non AMF style badging
I'm with Chris springer front end with a 16" front tire. A 2n1 head pipe that turns into a single that follows the frame.
21"-inch front wheel, black springer, take the sticker off the tank add pinstriping. personally, I think that would look the best.

I like it. The tank looks less than 2.5 gallons, but everything else is good I wouldn't change anything.

Also… SPRINGERS FOREVER!!! I know they are heavier and not as “performance” oriented than some other front ends, but I love bikes that look “mechanical”. Gears, springs, bolts, chains instead of belts. Just the more moving and “active” parts to a bikes (to me) makes it look like it’s ALIVE!
I love the idea of putting a black springer front end on it. Other than that it’s pretty sick as is.
Billy Lane built 23 front on springer and 18 rear. Coolest Badboy in town. Had stock bars but apes are good.
Something similar would work for me.

I have to agree. In its current state it looks cool. Just a few little mods to keep the gold theme is the way to go.
For a bobber I'd go with Indian or Kawasaki striker. The 1300cc is the best sounding vtwin out there. That's 88ci
I think putting on a split tank with the dash gauge would like pretty sweet beyond the law style

OMG, my wife and I ate at a Denny's in town (at like 3 A.M. of course) about 18 years ago long before we got married. We both got sick the next day, and the next time we drove by that restaurant it was shut down with a sign on the door for health violations! We haven't eaten at a Denny's since lol.

I for one like the sucker punch the way it is. Maybe a different set of bars. Maybe a very slight rake on the front and a slightly taller front suspension. But not much. It’s a beautiful bike as is. Make it reliable, make it fast. Call it a day.

It would be cool to restore it to the original status but create a few updated Blockhead Company twists and changes. Yes, black is the most common, but if you through about two pounds of gold flake into the mix, it still makes it original, but makes it a whole lot of cooler.

Leave it as-is with an allotment. If someone doesn't like the fender, replace it and keep it with the plaque for it's history
I do like the idea of giving the winner an allotment for the bike to make it their own. (Being 6'5" that is real helpful)

It looks like Jeff cochrans changes. He is big on the small tank. Those bad ass shovel heads he builds have the smaller tank. Personally I like the bike the way it is. I like the leave it as is and let the winner get what he wants. Cool opportunity for someone.
