This guy puts so much work and effort into all his videos, and it shows... he only has a small team to put these together but produces shows like you would see on Animal Planet... he deserves a lot more credit(and money) than he gets

Before I begin, I have to preface by saying that all frogs make noises. However, male frogs will squeak/croak/chirp in protest when you hold them by their lower abdomen and legs (the proper way to hold a frog/toad such that you immobilize their legs; preventing them from jumping from your hands and falling from potentially damaging heights). Females, for the most part, will not squeak when you hold them like this. The reason males do this is because it is a reflex reaction that they utilize to tell other males that they are themselves not female; a necessary action when a male tries to mount another male to begin copulation. (With less frequency, but not unheard of, females will mimic this action to prevent undesirable males from copulating with them, but again males will almost always squeak and females will rarely do so) So I figure this is probably what they went off of when they said the first gliding tree frog was male, and as you can see when they grabbed the second gliding tree frog, it did not squeak in protest as Coyote held it.
