Someone should make a V8 using two Yamaha R1 crossplane engines, that would then sound really good. The majority of the V8s on here are flatplane V8s & to me don't sound any better than the usual iL4
Awh, I'm kinda surprised you didn't mention Allen Millyard's Kawasaki 1600 V8. He makes lots of crazy engines like the Viper V-10 and my personal favorite, "The Flying Millyard" 5L V-twin sourced from a Rolls Royce Merlin fighter plane engine. Also, Boss Hoss makes some of the ugliest bikes in existence lol
well you forgot to mention the MORBIDELLI 850cc V8 ... I know, it's just a prototype bike, and only 4 were ever built ... so you won't find any around, unless you visit the Morbidelli museum in Italy. Nevertheless, I think it deserves to be mentioned, especially because it is a bike that was conceived in 1994, a time when there weren't many V8 bikes on the market ...
The sound of the MV resembles and IndyCar or F1 more than a motorcycle! I have this CRAZY idea of installing a VW diesel or similar onto a Goldwing or similar motorcycle, with a side car and a tear drop trailer and travel the world! The diesel would have fuel economy and torque that would make towing the trailer, possibly with a fishing kayak and ATB on top a breeze! And the 4cyl, assuming it's further forward than a Honda flat 6 would maintain a weight balance that would make towing 1000 lb on 2 wheels safer. And yes when it happens it'll be vlogged! Love your channel!
Especially the old thong slapper( for non Australian’s, it’s a holden 253 v8 motor that was from made from 1969 to 1985, you could get it within the holden line up, like a station wagon, sedan, ute, panel van just to mention a few, hell i’m doing a 253 swap for my fj45 to give it the grumble feeling
4 cylinder bikes are already handfull to handle and control!! let alone 8's...hats off to them who made double V 8 versions of otherwise dull standard in line 4 cylinder engines!! amazing!
As the current owner of a 1976 CB400F of the same type as the one used to create the V8 CB800 (which appears to be based around a 1975 model), I can promise you that this generation of CB400F does not make 53hp. That power rating was for the much later water-cooled CB400. In 1975-76 the power output was around 37bhp.
More motorcycle contents ! I love it ! :D wow if you use car engine on a bike , how big of a fuel tank youll need for real world practical use ? with the advent of EVs, we will most likely not seeing any more passionate motorcycle engines though.
How about the Top cheap and fun cars for winter? I would like to see that since winters in northern countries can be rough and driving conditions are not best then
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot That doesn’t make sense. FRs (RWD cars) are impractical for the winter. They are really dangerous in the snow. FFs (FWD cars) are safe, but boring. 4WD/ AWD cars are the safest and possibly the most fun in the snow.
Call it a moped, if you like, but I adored my CB400/4. What could be better than a CB400/4? Two of them! A pity that the Moto Guzzi V8 didn't enjoy further development. I though Dennis Franz was an American actor...
Have you seen the V12 motorcycle with two CBX engines? It's here in San Diego. There are a few videos of it online. ruclips.net/video/sCAnDmDQgsc/видео.html
Very interesting bikes, ain't they? Which one would you take home? :)
VisioRacer Either the Guzzi or the PGM. Aussie/Japanese power😂
VisioRacer You can also get a Boss Hoss with a 502 cubic inch/502 horsepower Big Block Chevy V8.
Maserati, all day long
AKSamarah No no no, this was the best one. Maybe not when idle, but @4:47 it is just amazing and fat. Yeah! 😎
I would take the Maserati powered one home
4:35 😂 Franz Flyer sounds like a damn muscle car. That’s awesome!
Backyardmech1 You hear that sound and then you see that small rear tyre. 😂 Very nice motorcycle. I like it at all.
When Yamaha's cross plane inline 4 ins't enough to satisfy your eargasm, you add another bank of 4 to that engine. :P
Ali Mahfooz lm847 at 473 hp
if you are refering to the pgm bike, that thing has a flatplane crank (you can clearly hear it), yamaha r1's used to be flatplane.
Yes, I was referring to the PGM bike. Or a flat plane with unequal length headers. They sound like cross plane V8s too. :)
Someone should make a V8 using two Yamaha R1 crossplane engines, that would then sound really good. The majority of the V8s on here are flatplane V8s & to me don't sound any better than the usual iL4
that would just be a crossplane v8 like the maserati engine and the chevy v8 in the boss hoss
That Franz bike is hilarious! Sounds exactly like an old Corvette with side pipes!
Your knowledge on vehicles never fail to amaze me but this has just left me speechless. Your a legend!
That Dennis Franz project is hands down the best sounding push bike ever.
V8 392cc
04:40 that sound~
woooooow
normal motocycles: Wreeemwreeem Wrooooom!
Boss Hoss: brup bap bap brap bumb bup BRUBUBUBUBU
All are cool bikes, but the Bosshoss isn't, it's more a compensation machine.
@@jody024 The Boss Hoss is definitely made for those with the skill and courage to handle one of those monsters.
That Franz Flyer is fucking radical and I love it
I think the Moto Guzzi V8 sounded like a nascar regulation stock car on 2 wheels.
I though it sounded more like two Ducatis bolted together!
@@Kj16V I do believe your thought.
Yet again you produce a well thought out, informative vid, awesome work bro....your channel is one of the best on RUclips...
Love the sound of the Franz Flyer.
the franz bike sounded alot like an old muscle car v8
TheShoppingCart I really like this motorcycle's sound. I do compare it with old musclecars, too.
Best looking of the list too.
The LM847 is an engine with wheels
Blint it's basically a ripoff of the dodge tomahawk using a maserati v8 instead of a viper v10

Franz Flyer for me -that is wonderful :-)
well you forgot to mention the MORBIDELLI 850cc V8 ...
The Frantz bikes are the coolest. He could sell all that he could make, if he was set up.
That PGM bike is ludicrously expensive, $180,000au. You can literally buy a small house for the price of that bike.
Andrew But that sound is worth the price of a house.
But would your small house sound as cool?
Jeremy B LOL
ironshark123 😂

the Boss Hoss is (was) available with an 8.2l (502 cubic inches) big block GM V8
i was just coming down to the comments section to say that. i have only ever seen on irl. crazy bikes
the Guzzi V8 sure sounds epic
Yes, Australians do love their V8's
Especially the old thong slapper( for non Australian’s, it’s a holden 253 v8 motor that was from made from 1969 to 1985, you could get it within the holden line up, like a station wagon, sedan, ute, panel van just to mention a few, hell i’m doing a 253 swap for my fj45 to give it the grumble feeling
The stroke of the Guzzi V8 was actually 41 mm, not 40.5 mm. Splendid video! It's amazing what some people are capable of!
VisioRacer! Can we get best sounding single cylinders in your next motorcycle video please?
I'd recommend the Buell Blast Trail of the Dragon video!
Not a big fan of the ones with a car engine. The Drysdale and the Dennis Franzare definitely my favorites.
Great video as always!
4:35 sounds awesome!
4:40~ナイス排気音♪

The PGM V8.
It really sounds so goood
Best Channel 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
nice bikes
Ever heard of Allen Millyard?
Can someone tell me another channel who presents this information in a similar style or is it unique? Great video as always :)
Viral Vehicles and I think ferrarifan(I think thats the name) have videos somewhat similar to these videos.
a little less information.
Motorcycle and V8 is a closed casket funeral waiting to happen!!
Love the moto guzzi
How about a video on American OHC engines?
Do the V12 motorbike next. There's an Aston Martin V12 bike out there.

Now V12 Bikes?
Helllfire looks awesome!!
Boss Hoss also used a nascar derived v8 that was pushing out 900 hp but i dont know if they still do that
There is also Sabertooth Motorcycles. They are lesser known but they are essentially Boss Hoss except their bikes are powered by Ford V8s.
I own 4 old motoguzzi. I simply love the brand
Nice
More motorcycle contents ! I love it ! :D wow if you use car engine on a bike , how big of a fuel tank youll need for real world practical use ? with the advent of EVs, we will most likely not seeing any more passionate motorcycle engines though.
I like the Boss Hoss and the PGM's a lot
Putting a V8 into a bike may seem as daft as putting the heart of an elephant into a mouse, but is really isn’t!
How about the Top cheap and fun cars for winter? I would like to see that since winters in northern countries can be rough and driving conditions are not best then
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot He literally made that video 4 days ago lol.
QuiteSpicy well it's 4x4 cars and i was thinking about RWD
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot That doesn’t make sense. FRs (RWD cars) are impractical for the winter. They are really dangerous in the snow. FFs (FWD cars) are safe, but boring. 4WD/ AWD cars are the safest and possibly the most fun in the snow.
QuiteSpicy that's true but it should be fun also for summer and i know there are not many cars like that like the Impreza
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot In that case, any sports car with AWD. The Mazdaspeed 6 is an option. The Lancer is another.
Does the Boss Hoss come with yoga lessons so that you can wrap your legs around the motor?
What if I crashed my Dodge Challenger and two wheels are missing? It's still a two-wheeler and a V8 ;)
Call it a moped, if you like, but I adored my CB400/4. What could be better than a CB400/4? Two of them!
A pity that the Moto Guzzi V8 didn't enjoy further development.
I though Dennis Franz was an American actor...
Anybody who would call a CB 400 a moped is an a$$hole, aka Harley riders.
Knew a guy with a Pro-Charged 572 Boss-Hoss... No joke..... I can't imagine that!
502 my bad
5:48 Who else sees a goofy face? :D
Thanks, i needed that! Thought i was looking in a mirror! Time to stop looking at the phone an do something!
Nothing better than having a small block chevy motorcycle
Look for big red, a sand drag v8 build by the hells angels in australia
I knew only the Hoss Boss v8 before actually
Also forgot Simca powered rat café bike, and Tatra V8 bike.
holy shit that PGM sounds like an F1
Have you seen the V12 motorcycle with two CBX engines? It's here in San Diego. There are a few videos of it online.
ruclips.net/video/sCAnDmDQgsc/видео.html
Would liked to have seen EJ Potter's drag bike here.
2 x R1 engine!? When insane is not enough.
Hell cat ? Yes please
Guzi!
Lazareth lm847 = dodge tomahawk minus a couple cylinders
2:00 Imagine crashing that thing... o.O
I nearly hit the like button then that tune comes on and ruins the whole vid FML
3:55 **Not Sure If Wheel HP Dyno Or Engine Dyno**
(joking)
honest charleys flathead v8 motorcycle, visio!?!?!?!
Frantz project and boss hoss sound like a real muscle car otherside pgm 2.0 sound like a Ferrari v8
6:40 can't beat a boss hoss
V8 BIKES YA BUDDY
the lazaret not a bike 4 whell its like a quad !!
It's odd that bikes can dominate with ether two cylinders ( Ducati) or any of these. It's not all about quantity.
then id rather stay with my one cylinder 700 cc 2 stroke
Lucas a maico?
No, Zabel
but the tank can't be enough. can't last more then an hour or two.
I call it an engine with wheels
Morbidelli V8
beaten to it. yes was going to mention the fairly well known Morbidelli. also a longitudinal mounted V8, there's one on display at the Barber Museum.
2:25 too slow.
Hoss Boss sounds worst than others, like eight single cylinder very old diesel engines
I like the PGM and the Honda. I loath that awful, ludicrous boss hoss thing.
