You have got really good in front of the camera. Great job, ... I see you are Jai Di Chris with you giving back, very impressive! Your parents did a good job in raising a kind human.

Wonderful video. This is my first time watching your channel after seeing you in Nick Nimans channel. You have great personality and I love seeing how you guys live out there...From Florida
Wonderful video Chris! Your local Thai teacher was a great surprise! It’s too bad you had to pay $27 for a mask - but it’s always nice to have something from home!
Import Duties are based on invoice or declaration on the Box. Anything more than 1500 THB are subject to Taxes, except Gift (It should declared as gift when sending) that may be up to 5000 but still depends on custom judge weather it's look appropriate to the price. So don't declare iPhone 10 for 5000.
Went to Ruam Sab on your recommendation. Great find, thanks. It's very helpful when you provide a map link and specific dish to try, thanks. Those food courts can be overwhelming for newbies.
Never spent alot of time in the Sukhumvit Area, even though i've spent alot of time in BKK. However, what reminds me of when you are walking around Sukhumvit, is when my Thai daughter said,"Can we go to EMQuartier Mall? So,off we went to EMquartier for a stroll, as we were WINDOW SHOPPING ,an older Farang looked at me,then my Thai wife and daughter, then looked back at me and said,"Dont buy anything is this mall". LOL i laughed at him,and said, as i lifted my empty hands,"See? so far so good". He laughed and carried on! Keep up the great content Chris!! Clay from Vancouver Island
Hi Chris, I must of passed you today, thanks for the tip on Raum Sab market, i was at Texas chicken then office mate across the street today and didn’t know the market was right there. We just moved in from USA, rented a condo from Jeroen. Went up to Ekkamai on BTS Monday from Asok and that was 3rd stop so Pra Khanong is 4th stop Lets meet up soon, thanks for all the great videos
Thanks for the fun video! Currently on day 7 in my pool villa quarantine in pattaya, so keeping fully entertained, but your videos are always appreciated!
For parcel deliveries, I found if address is written in Thai, (to a Thai national) then less chance of a duty asked for. Duties are such a scam, unless a declared value on the parcel, and still, they ask for silly amounts. Soft envelops vs boxes pass customs better also. I actually stop having stuff sent to me, as the duties were starting to get so ridiculous. Keep declared value low and ..... as school supplies. Throw some #2 pencils in the parcel, so not technically fraud ... 😂
And for BTS price things is simple They will start to take riding fees on extensions. So who ride over extensions (long distance from downtown) may cost up to 85 Baht ($2.8). if you ride from extensions of other side to another side i.e. from Khu Kot to Samutprakan it may cost up to 104 Bath ($3.5) which is too high compared to minimal wage. But I don't blame government or company. The real problem is Cost. When you are on the country with lower income. It's mean lower taxes and cost of construction and running Mass Transit is high compared to high income country. The same way the iPhone cost whole month of salary here VS just a week in US.
amazing comment. my hope with this channel is that each video STARTS a conversation that others add to. so your useful information added onto this topic is EXACTLY what i'm hoping we get more of here. cheers!
Originally the whole sky train system (BTS) had only two routes, one running along the Sukhumvit road (from Mo chit - On Nut) and another Silom (from National stadium to Saphan taksin). They are built and operated by Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC), which is a subsidiary of another publicly listed company known as BTS Group Holdings (in short not part of the government). When BTSC was grant a concession by Bangkok metropolitan administration (BMA aka the local government of Bangkok) back in the 1990's, it was agreed that BTSC must finance the operation cost and construction cost, etc, using its own money, and thus it can charge the fare on its own terms for a limited time (30+ years). For the extension routes, instead of granting additional concessions to BTSC to handle everything like in the past, BMA somehow decided to pay for the construction, so it would like to charge the fare and keep all money to itself. Given the fact that what it owns is just an extension, BMA offered to hire BTSC to operate the trains and train stations under its jurisdiction. It's either that or the commuters will need to switch onto a different train, once they reach the beginning of the extension route. Of course, BTSC wouldn't allow it, and thus that's how additional fees on extension routes came to be. The commotion is not only about of the ticket price, but also about who will get the greater share of the ticket money.
Love, love your videos! A few questions 1st -why did you go to Phra Kanong to collect your package when you live near Asok? 2nd -the package from Paul was big, only 1 Maple Leaf face mask? I am sad 😜 I didn’t win the Bangkok tickets, but very delighted you reached 100, 000 subscribers. CONGRATULATIONS 🥂🎉🍾😀 keep up the videos!😉🇺🇸🇹🇭
Chris has one of the fastest growing channels i've ever seen. I won't be surprised if he gets half a million by the end of this year OMG!!! mainfesting it
I've bookmarked the market location. I'll pay a visit on my next trip to Thailand for sure because the food looks amazing. It's not too far from where i usually stay. Cheers from Australia Chris.
Hey Chris, Would you think about doing a series about how to eat healthily in Thailand? Street food is delicious for sure, but as we are getting older, we need to eat healthy food for the major part of the retired life. Is that practical in Thailand? Thank you! Dave
Attention all shareholders please watch the video of Chris teacher 😊🙌🏻 its importent you are updatet all on business matters 😅 no yout not but our Awkward CEO has so many nice videos out there that your just having fun watching it anyway😘

Yes, she's Fah, the Thai teacher, isn't she? I also try to learn some Thai as I love learning new languages and out of respect for the locals, after all I'm a frequent visitor to their world. Anyway, I doscovered your channel about a month back and love it - thanks for bringing me to Thailand as I can't visit due to the virus. Keep up the great content and greetings to Hailey
From the last BTS station, it's a 5 minutes car ride to the sea---that's right, THE SEA!! There's some nice seaside cafes and seafood restaurants there and a really long bike trail built on the seawall that stretched for tens of kilometers along the coastline.
I've seen a few youtuber pages from other westerners living in in forging countries. How their treated in this epidemic and how they're sometimes stereotyped as bringing the virus into their country. Just curious if you've ever experience that at all in Thailand?
Hi Chris wow 100 baht for a thai ice tea is supper high when you can get them al over town for a fraction of that price does it come with a ping pong show ??? L.A Rob
Hey Chris, great content. I need a Motorbility scooter to get round (NOT a motor bike or Motor scooter) due to my bad back and limitations walking. Are these available in Thailand and could I get a condo that is disability friendly?
when i see the mask at the end, i remember the 90's when i play the Videogame NHL94 from EA on my PC. My favorite Team was of course the Toronto Maple Leafs with the famous Mats Sundin ;-)
Chris, I really enjoy your videos on Thailand. Thank you for providing this content, it’s inspired me to visit once the pandemic is under control. I do have a few concerns that make me a little hesitant to travel there. For one, watching you walk around town makes me nervous as it appears you are seconds away from colliding with cars or motor bikes. Is there an abnormally high number of tourists getting hit by motor cars/bikes? Also, with all the open food/markets is there a higher number of flies in food? I often find myself fighting with one or two flies while cooking on the grill at home and they infuriate me. 🥺
Hi CEO , Wish your Maple Leaf will not "choke" as usually does (I'm a Hab's fan!) ! And for your special guest I will go with your Thai teacher ! Ok just on an other note have you think to connect her with your nephews ? Maybe she can show him a little about the culture and the Thai language ! Ok CEO I need to go I had snow removal to take care !!
First, comment if you know the special guest. Then, if you don't know, watch this video: ruclips.net/video/8Liazgy_qEE/видео.html

Chris you ate one of my fav meals, Khao Kha Muu with Pak Dong and Kai Dtom, very jealous right now, another great piece of Thailand.

Post office import tax is only on items over 1,500.- THB. So tell people to put a value on the box under that amount. Top tip 👍🏻
That’s $62🇨🇦? Welcome to the travelling life lol
