I had a grub problem in my yard. Put down Triazicide down and watered in lightly. Next day the ground was covered with dead and dying grubs. Not bad for $10 or so.
Old video, but commenting anyway. The pine needles are a ornamental mulch for the landscaping and does not need to be taken up like people keep commenting. I use it for cost effectiveness and have no problems. Use the spectracide outside and then spray home defense around the exterior foundation and all interior walls, door ways or entry ways including the garage. Works great.
@@miklovelka2957 your lawn will be ok. I used the entire bag, 12500 sqft, on my lawn that’s maybe 3000 sqft. My spreader wasn’t listed so I went overboard on the backyard, which is lush and green, and there is no damage. My front yard has a major grub problem, I toned the spreader to the lowest setting and used maybe 1/8th of the bag. After 2 days I did see dead grubs appear on the surface but I tested with a hand shovel and found plenty alive underneath. On the 3rd day I applied the remaining 1/8th bag I had left just to the front again. The grass that’s alive in the front looks undamaged by the pesticide. I’m assuming this stuff, unlike weed killer, doesn’t stick to the grass or weed and get into the system where it would harm it, but I can’t verify that. Either way, I probably used double to 3x what I should have and it didn’t damage my lawn
I'm gonna give this stuff a try I bought the two Bags on Amazon for only $13.00 Dollars we have a major problem Year after Year with Moles we've tried everything from Traps to Poison to Sonic Spikes to Juicy Fruit Gum and we still see lots of Mole Hills. We used Milky Spore Grub Control in the past and that worked for getting rid of the Moles but Milky Spore is around $50.00 Dollars a Bag and I'm not really one to spend a lot on Lawn Care so I hope this stuff works just as good as Milky Spore did.
How did Spectracide Triazicide work for your grub/mole problem? In similar situation with tons of little holes dug up all over yard from some sort of creature.
I’m no expert…seems like removing the piles of dead grass where all the bugs were living might help alleviate most of the problem, why give them a place to live, just sayin. 🤷
I live in Vegas. I have wasp that go into the grass over the summer to drink and possible eat bugs. Wonder if this will work. Either kill their food or kills the wasp.
So this stuff does not work like weed killer and get into the roots, right? Like a grub won’t eat a root and then get poisoned and die? This will just soak into the dirt and poison the bugs?
Thank you for the video. Please consider removing your kids toys before you applying ANY pesticide. In some cases like this one common sense should not supersede labels instructions. Specially when it comes to Chemicals.
HRC R3 Academy Support So do you think more time should be given after watering it in (days?) before allowing kids on the lawn. I have a small patio that my toddler plays on and I worry that she will be exposed to this but the spiders and ants are also too bad in the yard/patio for her to play there. You think after water it in and a good rain it will be safe to play?
I’m laughing 😂. You have bugs because you created an environment for them. Clean up the pine needles and the dried up waste. Why is all that around your trees? SMH? That’s why you have bugs. They love being under there because it’s nice and cool and protects them from predators.
Hi, Thank you for the video. Did you consider removing the stuff around the trees that bugs hiding under? maybe use something that bugs wont be able to use to hide.
This stuff will kill ants and fleas ,spiders ,roaches for about 30 days at best . But things like spittle bug's . aphids , mole crickets, leaf hoppers forget it . And they are listed on the package . And if you a couple of days of heavy rain forget it !!!!
One of the great things about insecticide, is that it causes them to relocate to your neighbors property.
😂😂😂😂😂
Is that why I have so many bugs?
Kills on contact?
Hahah
That why I suddenly I have all those god damn grasshoppers all over my property

Can I over use on lawn or does it kill grass after so much?

@@chuckmangione195 thank you. I really appreciate the feedback🙂
nice lawn. might need to add another show to the multch it traps alot of the water preventing the chemical getting all the way down to the ground.
Great product, I have been using it for 5 years. Works great.
And it's a lot cheaper than Scotts..
But watering is bad?
Did you also film for the Blair Witch movie?
😂😂😂😂

What kind of bugs where those? They were fast like cockroaches.
Beautiful lawn. 👍👍👍
Great video!! I am debating if I should use this one or the spray version
I am using both granular and spray to make sure i get everything covered
I use both also
I use all 3 😂…trust! Home barrier, granular and concentrate 👍🏻

What’s the difference between that straw and mulch?
I live in Vegas. I have wasp that go into the grass over the summer to drink and possible eat bugs. Wonder if this will work. Either kill their food or kills the wasp.
You need to take up all of that dead dry grass and weeds and burn it. That’s a most loved home for bugs.
So this stuff does not work like weed killer and get into the roots, right? Like a grub won’t eat a root and then get poisoned and die? This will just soak into the dirt and poison the bugs?
Rake it up then apply it. It works better
Will it kill flies to?
how long does it stay in the lawn for?
At least 3 minutes. GREAT question. LOL
Does this burn/damage k31 tall fescue?
Your going to need to spray a liquid on the pine straw area

@@Jasmine01Nicole yeah and hose your patio really well.
You could knock those trees down and build one hell of a backyard hockey rink. So long bugs, hello deep freeze!!
Maybe rake up all that nice and clean , then spray? Burn old leaves
The lawn looks nice at least

joe you got pretty nice lawn
I just put this down to get rid of miles. Buddy said he used it to kill the miles food so the miles would go. We will see if it works.
I wish viewers could see for themselves when the grass was lifted, rather than the videographer going so fast it was hard to really get a perspective.
is this works for cirtus tree?
Do you have to check the weather before Application.
Will it kill chinch bugs?

Will it kill wasp
Would of worked better if you had a real spreader.
So it only kills on contact? Once it dissipates, it no longer kills?
Gonna spray my yard tomorrow with this stuff
Looks like you should have applied 2 bags with that much area...
Does it stain concrete?
Jason Stratton I blow the excess off the concrete back into the grass so I couldn’t tell you. Sorry
Dude it's the mulch🤷🏾♂️ get rid of that than put it down for better results. Just saying 🤷🏾♂️
You need to remove that pine straw.
chickens love those bugs
That’s disgusting. Get rid of all that pins straw. Yuck
i don't understand why you just don't get rid of the mulch in the first place? lmao
Tons of them crazy amount. Can’t be in the house
I was considering Scotts GrubEx but this is a lot cheaper and seems to really work,im going to try it...
