Word. I've been listening to Diablo and Diablo II soundtrack today and just realizing how perfect they are, I think they were a big part of my enjoyment of the games.
Thanks for uploading this. I think Matt Uelmen is no less than a musical genius comparable to Mozart or Shostakovich. It's not an exaggeration. I have never encountered any other game soundtracks which have such a wide range of intelligent influences, general composure and atmospheres.
perfectly said to explain exactly how I've been feeling about Matt.. Legendary doesn't even cut it.. He is a living god. I've heard people knock on him for his personality or his opinion on other matters but just because someone is famous because of AMAZING WORK doesn't mean we really have the right to violate and harass him for anything else. Not 1 person in this world doesn't know some idiots or people they don't like. U don't need to stalk them and know everything they are doin.. instead you just live your own life. Matt Uelmen is a god and I don't care if he was a dictator or superman.. we only know him for his WORK.. his MUSIC.. lets just give the man the credit he deserves and never really got over the years.. his music along with many years of nostalgia makes my skin crawl everytime i hear his music whether its even starcraft. there is nothing like it and this guys mind is beautiful and unlike anyone elses that composes that I've ever came across.
I've never heard better music in any game. Different types of very fine music yes, but nothing this atmospheric or just plain terrifying. I could have so easily missed this, I'm glad I didn't.
The memories when i were like 8-10 my dad buyed diablo 2 to me and had just the computer that time that could run it, all the friends wanted to race against each other to get my home and play this awsom game
as the biggest diablo fan in the world.. i never tried diablo 3 because I could assess the travesty it was from a distance.. you couldn't possess me with any soulstone and force me with any magic to play diablo 3.. i would corpse explode myself before you even could reannimate me to play diablo 3.. it would never happen.. there is no such thing as a diablo 3 or diablo 4 without matt.. MATT IS DIABLO... this guys work is what makes the nostalgia in your blood send sensations through your spine.. not fkn activision.. blizzard been fookin up HARD over the last few years.. i mean.. warcraft 3 reforged is a compete disaster of a remake of an absolute legendary if not the most legendary RTS ever made.. sure S2 is more modern but misses and lacks so many elements that w3 has such as obviously heros and the need for so much more micro to manage them and their abilities.. if you can't micro, you cant rts.. rts's are supposed to be very micro demanding.. hence why w3 is always the best rts of all time.. blizzard get your shit together... you better not ruin diablo 2 resurrected just like reforged.

I love Diablo soundtrack because some songs are very disturbing... it really fits the game... Diablo II musics are good too, but the whole D3 is a bad joke.

He is absolutely the master of atmosphere. The tracks used for WoW which were intended for Diablo 3 are also incredible.
