I appreciate that you have such respect for older fragrances, and former viral fragrances. I see so many fragrance lovers who devour. First they devour a new fragrance because they love it, then they devour it when it’s past its peak (like the BR540 phenomenon). Why can’t we pay respect to those fragrances, even if moving on from them? I just like pretty scents, whether they’re cult favorites, viral trends, or old-faithfuls🎯

Yay, Pure Poison - I so agree with you Veronica! It's gauzy and dense at the same time don't you think? 😊 an absolute stunner, a true love frag for me. I love it more than so many expensive fragrances as it is unique, non sweet and not so 'obvious' as other scents. It's in my top 10 for life! 😊

I love Lancome. Their perfumes are some of the only perfumes that actually have staying power as a scent.. my new favorite of the line is La Vie Est Belle L'extrait De Parfum . Gorgeous Iris, and Woody notes.

Yes, I DID wear the original Carolina Herrera back in the day...along with Poison, Elizabeth Taylor's Passion, Samsara, Giorgio Beverly Hills and Giorgio B.H. Red. I think people could smell me coming from a mile away! Those were the days, haha!

This is a great list! Back when I was a signature scent girl it was Chanel Chance for me all the way. It was my mid-30's through most of my 40's scent. As I started getting more into fragrances it got pushed further back on the shelf but it still gets pulled out from time to time and never fails to make me smile. I need to give some of the Si flankers a shot. The original Si is the only perfume I've ever washed off of myself. Bummed me out because so many people love it.

I am a L'Interdit fan! I haven't smelled the special editions, although I would have loved to. But the standard line, I love all of them. My fave is Intense. *That sesame note* So different, and it really adds a coziness to it. My friend said I smelled "comforting." Lol

Love and own so many of these choices! I, too, wore the OG Carolina Herrera EDP back in the day. Just a couple of sprays would suffice, but I enjoyed it. My favorite is her VIP Gold. I hardly ever hear it mentioned, but it’s a good one, IMO. Thanks for these and the niche suggestions!

Hi Veronica! I love Pure Poison and I've repurchased it over and over. It has a distinct quality, and of all the Poisons, it's my favorite.😊 In Albuquerque our Summers and Winters are dry and crisp. Pure Poison has an icy cold jasmine that blooms beautifully in this type of weather. Have a great week!

Love these videos! I love Interdit Rouge, the og Good Girl (although Blush is great for spring) and TF Fleur de Portofino. I have the hardest time with TF prices when you look at their longevity but Fleur de Portofino will always be a repurchase for me.
L'Interdit Rouge is loved by many. I know some of the TF fragrances have less than stellar longevity, but some linger alllll day!
Like I said I’ve been circling back to my classics and Donna has been amongst them. Still so good and it’s definitely gotten sweeter since I first got it! Still gets so many compliments 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Armani Code😱 I forgot all about that beauty, and the men's sport edition was fantastic. Pure Poison is a favorite 🥰 on an icy cold day, oh boy, she's a whole mood. Your descriptions are so accurate and helpful. I love the LVeB Inensement bottle. It's beautiful just to look at even if you don't like the fragrance. I have smelled L'interdit on my mother-in-law and when I hug her it's heavenly. Hermes Twilly and the Eau Ginger flanker I really adore. I prefer the plain Alien Goddess but yes any of those are Goddess scents smell wonderful. I am not woman enough for OG Alien. 🤪

I love these choices. My best friend wears Mon Paris Intensement and I enjoy smelling that one on her. It's really pretty and, like you stated, young and tender. I own a Valentino "Signature Alice" shoulder bag in black but normally their bags are not my style at all.

I use to work for Complexion by Russo’s and we sold Lancôme products, this was in 80s. I loved the original Magie Noire. I have the remade version, however it will never smell like the original Magie Noire.
Ah yes! 💖🥰 Magie Noire! I had and sold the reformulated version. It was pleasant while I had it. Original Poison was NO JOKE!

Forever a fan of Alien and find the current iteration under L’Oréal to be satisfactory. If you didn’t wear the original you don’t know what you’re missing right? I love the Alien Goddess Intense and agree it’s all season appropriate. I layer it over a coconut lotion in the summer. 😎

Beautiful video idea! I needed this a couple years ago when I started my fragrance journey. I only have 2 of the perfumes you mentioned: Donna Born In Roma ( which I blind bought and hardly ever wear due to the potency of the girly girl essence) and Mon Guerlain Intense (which I wear the heck out of due to the confident and calming vibe). I even bought all the Mon Guerlain flankers. Good stuff! I have variations of all the houses you mentioned though except for Carolina Herrera. I've never smelled any of those. Great video! The Bloom of Rose EDP is lovely, but I prefer Florale (which of course has been discontinued I believe). I've never smelled the Bloom of Rose EDT however, and I hear Yana at The Scented loves it.

My LVEB Intensement is well used. the DNA of the OG is definitely there. I can go ham with the Intensement, but not with the OG😅 one spray, that's it! I need to try Mon Paris Intensement. The pear in the OG is a no-go for me. Mon Guerlain intense is that girl!!! I've had my bottle of Si for 5 years and it's only half🙈 I prefer the Passione flanker more. Great video Veronica!

I have quite a few of these. From Lancôme, I prefer the Idole line! For mass appeal designer houses, I would think Chanel more than Tom Ford. Not just price but Chanel has many options with their Coco Mademoiselle or Chance/Chance Eau Tendre probably being the most mass appealing.

Oh no! Sorry you're so cold 🥶 This winter weather is really doing a number on some regions! Yes, I finally tried Exit the King. Nice clean and cool feeling fragrance. I don't think it is like Pure Poison which has a stronger floral accord and feels a bit "warmer" than Exit the King.
This was a fantastic list. Yes Burberry is a great designer house. Goddess is delightful but my all time favorite is Burberry Blush which was my signature Wednesday scent. Wednesday I wear Pink and that fragrance just topped off the girly vibes 😊. I have to get my nose on Mon Paris Intense version you mentioned sounds great. Thanks for sharing. 😊

You have put out some beautiful fragrances even though I don’t have all of them😍😍. I sampled Soleil Neige and it’s really beautiful, I will only buy it at a discount from the Cosmetics Company Store😍😍. I bought Mon Guerlain Intense in May last year and it’s almost half🤭🤭.

I agree with Valentino, very easy to reach and great starter for anyone. It can be worn year round. It last around 5 hours for me then I reapply.

Agree with those I know! I retried idole intensement tonight, and i can't stop smelling myself, so my reget of 2023 changed! It's a 9ml, so didn't really matter. Im too hard on myself, I sample by notes and get mad when a sample doesn't work.😂❤

Great choices @Veronica! I have, and enjoy many of these. I accidently bought Mon Guerlain Intense bc I thought I clicked the original. I am glad I did, bc I love it! As far as Burberry, I was disappointed with Burberry Goddess, and instead went with Burberry Her, which is beautiful and also mass appealing. So far, I don’t have any Tom Ford or Carolina Herrera, so, looking forward to adding those houses at some point. My granddaughter made away with my Valentino Donna Born in Roma, (she is going on 14), but I recently won a bottle of Donna Aqcua in a giveaway, so, great timing! Wink wink. I have been wondering which fragrance line you have the most bottles from? I think mine I would be Guerlain.

For vintage amazingness, I think it's hard to go wrong with the classic Chanels or some of the longer standing Rochas fragrances. 👍👍👍

Hi neighbor! I really enjoyed both the niche and designer frag recommendations for gateway options. I started my perfume journey about three years ago in terms of collecting. I certainly was on the train of fragrance snobbery! I think some content creators I watched perpetuated this train of thought. I am drawn more to niche fragrances. Amouage and Initio being my favorite houses. However, there are some stunning designer and Indie frags that I greatly enjoy. Some designer scents are complex and long lasting. As I continue my journey, I continue to evolve. The dupe for Dama Bianca is 98% spot on and lasts much longer than Dama Bianca. I thank you for that recommendation! I don’t regret having both in my collection. Are you enjoying this cold snap? I’m looking forward to the warm up later this week. As always, you knock it put of the park?❤

I might also have to put in a word for Chanel and though I’m a No 19 girl forever (my wedding fragrance), my brother bought me Chanel Les Eaux Paris Paris which is a beautiful and accessible light and peppery rose which would suit everyone. I love it and I do love Chanel perfumes in general.

At one time, I would have said, "Don't forget Estee Lauder and Calvin Klein!", but not so much, now. At the moment, I'm enjoying DG Devotion and YSL Libre Le Parfum... I finally decided that whether it's because of reformulation *or just me*, I need to move on from my old favorites and branch out! ❤ Thank you for continuing to provide wonderful content for us!
