He is a whole new person since then. Listen to his singles, completely different. Sadly he is a changed man and doesn't cater to those moments anymore :/ However, both sides of him are very good!
@@JordanBritt but you can see the immediate switch after he screams his voice becomes almost inaudible and it looks it really hurts him and as the years go on his voice has become more soft well except for 2018 because that year they were doing only 6 shows so he screamed a bit more. I guess it's about the excitement or the energy

He can sing exactly like he did on the albums but his voice would probably be ruined after just one song. In 2013, he screamed like crazy. Why? Because the set lists were shorter. After Toxicity, there were more songs which meant longer sets so he had to start persevering his voice. He sounds underwhelming sometimes but it's on purpose to save his voice. I'd rather him hold back on his voice than overuse it and ruin it.
Because he's old as fuck :D He's almost 50 and doing a metal show takes a lot out of you. Plus he missed 6 years, so it's hard to get used to it again, especially if you are in your late 40's :D

Serj really feels some of these songs, you can tell when he goes back to his screaming for a moment, but you can tell it's difficult for him nowadays.

No the real system of a down died in 2006 and serj killed it...
His voice already started to change in 2002. Look up sugar and toxicity performances from 2002 and you'll see what I mean.
