Serj’s rant at the end gave me goosebumps. It’s always bothered me how a lot of people just see SOAD as a goofy meme band. Of course, there is a lot of humour in their lyrics, but there is absolutely also a message of standing up to injustice at the heart of their art.
This is the best version of this song I think. John's drumming has the energy of a freight train.
In this song I think of him as a machine gun :)

I love how you enhance the video with 60fps and by saturating it a bit more. Glad you keep the 4:3 aspect ratio now instead of stretching the video. All that gives it kind of a 90s look.

He did all the time back in the day, if you want flawless performance go back to 98/99, Reading 2003 is pretty good too, after 2005 he stop fucking it up but at the 2001/2002 era he butchered all the time

They are plugged in. When performing live it’s better to thread the cable through your strap so you don’t accidentally pull it out, that’s why it’s harder to see.
Pause at 4:12 you will see Shavo’s bass plugged in, with the cable going up in between his strap and bass
