Ugh I'm from NYC and for years my barber was a guy from the Dominican Republic who cut give you one of the best fades of your life. But if I sat down in his chair at say 1pm. Just to get a fade I'd be there in that seat til 2:30-3:00. He just did not stop talking. I'm not making this part up, I swear it's a true story. He was so reckless and disrespectful with people's time that he'd be cutting your hair, get like halfway done and abruptly stop and go to the back room of the shop and start playing the damn bongos. Like loudly playing salsa bongos while I'm sitting there with half of my head shaved. I've seen him leave a customer in the seat with a half cut and dip out and go down the street to Wendy's to eat. But he cut hair that good that people just would deal with it.
