Amen Doug . Although I still use my pw often I still perfer right out of the hose . Rinse is faster and cleaner than actually creating more suds trying out of areas like mirrors and whatnot. With good quality products and tools it's just as good if not better. I get pushback all the time on different forums but after 40 yrs of detailing I'll go head to head against anyone . As far as drying aids I use carbrite Element shield Da . Have for yrs . Works great as a spray and Rinse then towel or spray and towel . Stay Kool. Take care .
Hello, and thanks for the feedback. It sounds like you have an excellent routine, and since it works, stay the course. I love it! As for the pw, I was against them for years. When I want to bang a wash out in like 15 minutes from setup, wash to teardown, it's Old School every time! A bucket, hose, and some soap.. Let's git R dun! I really appreciate the feedback and support of the channel. Take 'R easy, stay cool!
Great video Doug! Thanks for sharing this with all of us. Also thanks for using Next Level products! I will tell you that our Ceramic Spray Wax works as a premium drying aid and also lays down a coat of sio2 as you enhance your drying process. Keep up the great work Doug!
Jim, Thank you sir! Your shampoo and slow foam are pure fire! It definitely makes washing more fun and I don't worry about waterspots! I was going to use the Ceramic Wax as a drying aid but this car is due for a full correction and coating. I didn't want to add a durable product to the surface.... #nextlevel
For extreme heat or cold, I use a rinseless wash. About 90% of the time, I will perform a rinseless because I wash my cars about once a week. For a drying aid, I use Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer, about $35 a gallon. It seems to last longer then most detailers? Since my wife's car is coated with Adams Advanced coating, I use their detailer. As always thanks for the video...
Hi, thanks for the response. All great options on the table, I say, use what works! I have used a waterless wash as a drying aid, and it works great! I appreciate your input and help. Have a good one
In those conditions, i will do a rinseless wash in the garage . If the car is fillthy, i will foam and rinse with a foam cannon soap ... treat with a rinseless and pull into the garage for a contact rinseless wash.
Hey man! I've heard of this method before, and it sounds like a great idea. I may have to give it a shot one of these days! Thanks for the idea! Take it easy & Be good!
Next Level makes phenomenal products! He is a phenomenal owner! His auto shampoo & snow foam are sone of my favorites as well! His bucket kit is a great set of products for a great value! It was on sale for July 4th. GREAT demonstration with Superior Formula 4. Superior Also makes some very good products
Thank You Tim! What other water spot preventing aids do you use? I've heard of a few and it's usually a Detail spray.... Thanks Tim. You are always full of great intel!
One trick I found, do your wheels first with a pressure washer and what not. Do a through rinse down. Then have a half ounce or so of rinseless in a foam cannon, it still comes out stronger than 256:1 and will mitigate spotting then wash and dry as you go. Re-apply with the foam cannon as needed if it dries out. Cheap and easy way haha
@@detailit Right on. Now when my Griots detailing spray runs out, I won't throw it away. I will rinse and reuse. If you keep posting um ,I will keep watching um. Peace ✌️
@johnmurdock3448 oh You got it man... I'm here to stay. Enjoy those Griot's bottles and triggers... they are terrific!🤙🏼 I appreciate the comment; Thank You!
Ran into this yesterday. Washed J's matte finish Sportage around 8:00 PM. Total shade, but 106 F. Had some problems with water spots on the doors when I wasn't fast enough.
It's crazy how fast u have to be to beat those spots on hot days! Just keep applying a mist of water every now and then. Once done, drop that hose, grab the towel, and speed dry... it's tough... drying aids help a ton!
Adam’s Car Shampoo and Detail Spray (with two microfiber towels) when done is my preferred method. As you know, same deal as the Next Level in the sun when washing, then dry as preferred and then have a Microfiber almost soaked in Detail Spray, wipe a panel and buff with a dry microfiber. I do not use the Detail spray on glass, that gets done in the shade no matter what, with Stoner glass cleaner.
Excellent feedback. I appreciate this. Ik the Adam's shampoo and his qd are kinds the Go To for many people. It does work and looks great when finished. Thanks for taking the time to watch and to chime in. Much appreciated!
@@detailit I always appreciate your videos and advice. I know a lot of people already have those two Adam’s products so just wanted to mention what I do after drying. I just picked up two new foam cannons to run the Chem X Stars and Stripes, and have my old one for the Snake Oil. Just as we discussed before… I hope this helps with my weekly vehicle line up and all of that time saved will once again be credited to your videos!
@nickfoote8346 oh too Kind! Do me a favor and stay in touch. I'm most definitely interested in your opinion and if the ChemX line helps streamline your wash process. I'm sure it will. Are you on Instagram?? Thanks again, I am humbled!

Been using the Next Level Snow Foam and it has been impressive. Talked to Jim last week..good dude!!
Indeed! I like the snow foam better than the shampoo for sure. Great stuff and Jim is an awesome guy! 👊🏼
