I don't see many talking about the amazing little bits of instrumentals we get during dialogue ESPECIALLY the trial scene with Prospera at 16:30. Those heavy synths..UGH I AM ALL ABOUT THAT! Heavy bladerunner vibes, the G Witch OST has to be my fav among the entire franchise. The vibes and ambiance it brings to every scene is immaculate.

I feel this is one of those Gundam series that really brings people into the story and satisfies many fans. It's running parallels with the usual Gundam awesome of the past with a fresh perspective. I hope this does well. Its production quality is top-notch. 👌 Ty Sunrise and MSG.

I actually can't wait to know why Mioline's dad hates the gundams so much. His reasoning in the prologue is that it's a dangerous mobile suit that kills the pilots but to actually annihilate most of the gundams, Suletta's dad, and the gundam staff is super overkill. I'm getting Gundam Seed Blue cosmos and Patrick Zala flasbacks.

I haven't eager of chasing episode every week for many years before until now. The rhythm of the plot and fight scene are awesome, and the style of screen composition is also pleasing to the eye. I really like this work, and the official online sharing is also full of the feeling of a new era, praise! I will continue to support the witch, and the HG series can't help buying :D
This is my first time seeing a Gundam show and I agree with everything you said about the show's pacing, animation, action and everything, in general, is just fantastic! I am loving it. 😁
Been thinking about this since first ep. They had to be real confident to sent what obviously a Gundam out in open to one place where everyone would would wanna shoot it down and boy I can see that confidence now.
I think it's a build up for tech & politic strategies which they implied in the court room. If she build a dangerous weapon(gundam) outside the companies group then she'll be a treat. But now she get the attention she need to develop more and make gundam save.

That’s considering her that goal isn’t just plain old revenge. She’s either confident she can keep Suletta out of trouble or her goal was merely grabbing their attention in first place. Using Aerial and Suletta. In any way, we just have to wait and see since this is only 2nd episode and we never gotten to see what would’ve been her trump card to justify Aerial before the white hair girl interfered.

This show has got me hooked, ever since the PROLOGUE. 🤯
The animation is top-notch, the Music is so GOOD, Both OP and ED as well as the OST, the pacing and action are great, the dialogues and characters are engaging, and the politics, the world-building and everything, in general, is just keeping me so hooked right now unlike anything that I've seen in Years. Can't wait for more episodes!

In classic Okouchi fashion, Lady Prospera is one hell of a Shakespearean name - she could serve as a hybrid of Prospero and the Count of Monte Cristo. Elnora's revenge begins and who knows if the Mercurian company rise above the ranks by showing their technical prowess and how they are able to bypass the data storms associated with the GUND-Arm system.
The music video of ost for this series has a link to a short story that happens between the prologue and episode 1. I'm sure you'll take interest of...
Look up Shakespeare's The Tempest, seems like Lady Prospera already foresaw all this happening.

Tieria and Setsuna: why didn't they just consult us?
I mean, seriously, we've literally HAD an example of a system like this in a prior series.
Setsuna tried to directly communicate with the ELS, but was overwhelmed by the information from the ELS. it succeeded when he had Tieria assisting him via the VEDA terminal in the Qan[T], filtering out the information, and allowing Setsuna to communicate successfully.
The GUND-Format was originally designed for only human sized prosthetics, not 18m tall machines, so it's a given that the human brain wouldn't be able to process all that information. So how does one counter it? by offloading the data processing to someone or someTHING else, like an AI.

Man, I am so happy to finally get into the Gundam franchise. 🤩 Like many, I always wanted to get into it but was a little intimidated by it. But that's why I'm so glad they started this show because you don't have to watch what came before it and then once you get invested in this (like I am right now). You would definitely wanna check out the old shows, films etc. Something I also plan to do once I have enough time. 😁

nah. the design of the red MS and sazabi is very different.
The Sazabi is modeled after a samurai armor plus a few past Neo Zeon designs.
The Red suit design looks similar to Jerturk Heavy Machinery designs [the purple one in ep1]. It should be piloted by his half-brother

In case anyone needs to know what's happening or what's going on, here's a detailed (more or less) analysis and who's who and who are they are under which company for those who didn't understand the Prologue to now;
Ochs Earth Company/Aerial's/Lfrith Company: They are the ones who made the GUND-ARM Format. Originally a prosthetic for the disabled, but things shifted when it came to MSes, thus creating the Gundams we see and know.
Vanadis Institute: The research MS department who expanded and researched on Gundams, under Ochs Earth company. When the 3 Big Houses; Jeturk Heavy Machinery Company, Peil Tech Company and Grassley Defense Company, got together and formed the Beneritt Group. Which is the top 3 main companies in Space and decided to shut down the Gundam development by as you saw in the Prologue.
Beneritt Group
Grassley Company:
Headed by the white balding like man with the tube in his nose, which is Sarius and his son, Shadiq, head of the MS Dueling Council. This also included Delling when he was the top manager of the company in the Prologue before becoming what we see in the main series, the massive power hungry dictator.
Delling:
Currently President of the MS Development Council and the Principal of MS school, headed this operation and wanted to have power (for reasons we have yet to see why).
Miorine:
Delling's daughter, 2nd year and the white haired one
Jeturk Company: Headed by Vim, with his son Jule Jeturk as the Ace and next head of the company.
Vim: Dressed in dark red who is also starts to gets power hungry in the last episode, wanting to blow up Delling that plan was thwarted when Suletta, piloting the Aerial, got in the way of his plans and now has to do a favor by Prospera.
Jule: Pilot of that pinkish MS that got its ass handed over by the Aerial and is quick to anger with his pride.
Peil Company: Currently headed by not a boss or a single head but is headed by a council/group of those 4 weird looking pale ladies under a parliamentary system type of management. Currently have a Gundam MS. (Yes, you READ that right but won't say anything about it for spoilers) and the pilot is Elon Ceres.
Elon Ceres: A 3rd year student and is part of the MS Dueling Council and is currently interested in Suletta.
Dominicus: Spec Ops department (think of military but elite and) under MS Development Council, consisting of Grassley and Jeturk (so far). The same one who ordered the hit and destruction of the Vanadis Institute and killing Suletta's father.
Status Quo of series:
Mainly because of the Beneritt Group, this created the status quo between the Spacians and Earthians, he hate between Spacians and Earthians. With Spacians being high and living luxuriously and Earthians are looked down on and are poor due to being the least selling as Earth has limited resources to make with compared to Spacians who has control of space and other resources available.
An example of this status quo seen was when in Chuchu got mad to those 2 girls in this episode who spat gum into Nika's food.

I can't stop myself clicking the next episode after the first one. Damn, the OP & ending really slap. The production team must've took quite the gamble to create the first female lead in Gundam, BUT this one doesn't disappoint! Suletta is totally killing it as the MC, and Miorine is amazing too. Love the story, love the characters design. Can't wait for Suletta's character development, along with the others. I love Nika too, she's awesome since the 1st episode.

Very cool opening animation, also I knew it Guel Jeturk is gonna be the Kazami or Patrick Collasour of this show, an unlikeable character at the start and gains huge character development, to be honest I was a fan of Kazami and Furry lady ship back during build divers re:rise airing.

Cool episode, I really like the faster pacing that seems to be here, also the characters are fun and exciting. Indeed, we also get Cha- I mean the mysterious red mobile suit towards the end. Seems pretty fast and quick too.

Girl gets told bombshells after bomshells one after another: First it's being told she'd now engaged to the girl she defended, next is being told she has to do trial by combat (mobile suit duel) else she gets expelled and her Gundam (who she considers a sister) gets scrapped.
