    Lincoln, NE
    After steaming, how long do you cool before taking shells & tail off?
    Do you rinse with water after that? If adding to a hot pasta dish do you add shrimp just be serving to avoid overcoming the shrimp?

    • @LetsCelebrateTV
      @LetsCelebrateTV  7 месяцев назад +1

      Great question!! If you steam them with the shells on, you want to let the cool long enough that you can handle them safely. Don't rinse, that will wash away all the flavor. If you're adding them to a dish, you can add them right before serving if they're already steamed. Alternatively, you can steam them without the shell if you choose, or you can cook them in whatever sauce you're using on the pasta as well. Just take the shells and tail off before adding them. Thanks for watching!

    My parents used to stick the shrimp inside the water itself and boil it, no one ever ate it and they always got livid 😂

    Shrimp is a delicate seafood that tastes so much better when steamed rather than boiled. Warm or cold - what seasoning do you like on your shrimp?

    • @LetsCelebrateTV
      @LetsCelebrateTV  2 года назад +2

      I like my steaming water to have lemon, light beer and old bay, with a little old bay sprinkled over the shrimp when served. 🍸🍸

    • @coreyluv6
      @coreyluv6 Год назад +1

      I actually prefer no seasoning, I love the natural taste of the shrimp. The sea taste just has that effect on me. Maybe a few shrimp in then I'll dip some in cocktail sauce

    • @LetsCelebrateTV
      @LetsCelebrateTV  Год назад +2

    WHAT IS THE TYPE OF SMALL ONE BURNER COUNTER -TOP GAS COOKER YOU ARE USING IN THIS VIDEO?

    • @LetsCelebrateTV
      @LetsCelebrateTV  8 месяцев назад

      This is a butane burner. Very popular for buffets and you see them in online cooking shows as it allows the host to not turn his back on the audience to work on the stove. They can be as cheap as $50 and as high as $150 with power (BTU) being the deciding factor. We are using a high end one here: amzn.to/48ufKCz 🍸🍸

    It's a lot better if you add Old Bay (and I like to add salt and pepper as well) on top of the shrimp in addition to your seasoning additions in the boil fluid.
