The King of IndyCar and one of the greatest racing drivers ever!
May Lucy Foyt Rest in Peace🙏🏼
the greatest us driver all time, andretti was the only one close to what anthony joseph foyt did as prolific, there are many ledgends out there and many raced lots of types of cars some even won in a catigory as much as foyt did certain events like jack hewit winning the hoosier 100 many times or kody swanson being the best dirt champ car silver crown driver all time and the face of the form of racing which has seen a researgence this season with new blood and ledgendary events but none across the board, only modern that comes close might be kyle larson and he has a long way to go on amount of wins and has yet to win the 500 at least once or win the kings royal as many times as steve kinser or sammy swindel
I would like to pay my respect to Mrs. Foyt. I also send my warmest condolences to Mr. A.J.Foyt and to his children due to their loss. Best regards from Finland (Europe).
We LOVE you A.J. Foyt! You are an American Icon. A National Treasure. You are one of the Bricks that makes Indy what it is, and always will be.
Aj was always a hero of mine. When l was a child my family attended a USAC stock car race at Mid America Raceways in Wentzville Missouri. As we walked past Aj's place in the paddock he lifted me up over the fence and put me in his car. Never will forget him l wish him the best in his time of loss. A great American hero if there ever was one. The kind of guy that made you want to own a cowboy hat.
AJ was one of the reasons I started racing. My condolences on his loss...
Been a Foyt fan since the 60’s.
AJ is the man! Love ya AJ!
Absolute LEGEND ! Because of mr.Foyt is started watching INDYCAR/CART one ofthe greatest if not the GREATEST. It was an honour to watch him. All the best to mr. Foyt greetings from AMSTERDAM.....
Love the video on A J. I been following him ever since Playland park I use to work at Smith Industries. We could always here when they were dyno the race engines. Great memories
Will always be the best
Imagine being a racers wife during those deadly days. Without Lucy, I doubt AJ would be the great racer he is today.
I was lucky enough to see Aj foyt in Placerville California and at CalExspo in Sacramento. Aj is my hero .
Still going strong, what a legend.
The blasting music behind this video is so unnecessary and just out of place. Poorly edited video for such a legend.
The man, the legend
As a 70s kid, I had an electric race track that featured AJ Foyt vs Mario Andretti, burned the tires off. Lots of fun.
AJ Foyt racing is back! Go get ‘em Santino Ferrucci!
So sorry 2 hear bout your wife AJ.
Meet him when I was a kid after he won the "Big Car" race at the old state fair grounds in Sacramento. I was 8 (1962), I remember it like it was yesterday.
Happy birthday aj from a big fan in Florida, have an extra special day!!
I can remember when he first came to Indy . I went to the 63 / 64 / 68 race and seen him win the sad 1963 one. He is the best ever.
Music did not match the subject.
I would say that he, Dan Gurney and Mario were probably the best American drivers. Also close is Phil Hill, Peter Revson, Masten Gregory and maybe Ritchie Ginther. AJ was always a fireball of energy but man could he drive.
Tony Stewart.
🤣
My condolences to another great American Hero!
Poorly edited video with unnecessary music. Also, you only devoted 2 minutes and 10 seconds to a racing legend, what a joke.
Absolutely a hundred pure race car driver the best that ever was
Its such a pity he didnt race in F1, he could have been world champion for sure.
Grand Champion/ Did it his way I wanted to see him run at Du Quoin Majic Mile went all through 70s and 80s saw Bettenhausens Larry Rice Tom Bigelow Rich Vogler etc
Firstly, it is so sad to hear of Miss Lucy's passing, my sincerest condolences to you & your entire Family Mr FOYT ✝️ 🙏 😞
As far as who is The GOAT, I'd have to say at the end of the day that it's AJ Foyt, i mean does anyone really believe if Helio win's a 5th Indy 500 he's better than AJ?? 😂
Besides, Ol' Twinkle Toe's Helio would have to win 6, to have a legit "5" 😉
Ol' Twinkle Toes is right. I lost all respect for him after that _Dancing With The Scums_ stunt he did. Should have had his professional racing license revoked.
Don't forget the #00 1965 Ford Galaxie A.J.
In related news, two swarms of African bees died unexpectedly after after being exposed to AJ Foyts immune system.
Just thinking. He has done that for the last 30 years, probalby few times a year. I mean "looking back on life and career".
Get a life
GO PACKERS!
Packer helmet with autographs.
A real shame his entire career was only left turns. Simple things.......
Second place , other wise known as the first loser ... "Every serious racecar driver..;
V
Needs more obnoxious wackadoo music as background. [sarcasm]
