Well when you have no say in anything the band that you helped create, the other 2 guys belittle you in every sense of the word, basically not caring that you are even in a band together, or that you helped them become one of the biggest bands in the world. That's how, Gene (and to a lesser extent) Paul are monsters and don't care about anyone but themselves, that why everyone left or got fired. No disrespect to Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer but the reason they've been around for as long as they have is because they are basically yes men who do whatever Gene and Paul want. I think the best thing Peter and Ace did was leave kiss, I know I wouldn't want to be apart of a band where I'm not wanted
@@martinone9 I saw KISS in Wichita KS in 2020. And they putted on the best show ever, I liked the part when at the end when the Fire and Confetti came out of the stage. Man they killed that show that night!

I saw them on this tour in Austin back in August 2000. First time was January 1984 in Austin during the Lick It Up Tour. Finally saw them a third time last Sunday October 29 2023 in Austin! All 3 versions of the band rocked!!

There’s another video with Footage under the stage with Tommy Thayer filming Ace, Paul and Gene from this concert, and you can hear his mic cutting out. You can even hear it a little in this video. Actually, at 1:58:51 it cuts to an angle from under the stage which is from Tommy’s camera.
This show sounds amazing, but I wonder how much has been sweetened in the studio. I'd love to see a non-pro feed to hear how the original audio compares. Seems way too perfect.
Why does Paul say that Peter played the songs too slow when this tempo is faster than they’ve played them for about 20 years? There is more energy and pace here than in the pathetic End of The Road special that’s for sure

I wish they had stopped after this farewell tour. They probably would be remembered more for this than all the shit they've said about each other and they might have gone into the sham called the rrhof a couple years earlier. Plus people like me would still think they were the greatest.

The generationally influential master on the other hand will consider it if the money is right. Remember, for this re union tour 1996 Ace was on 50k per gig. Peter 40k. Gebe and the egomaniac refused to allow both Ace/Peter 'buy back in' to what is KISS Inc and 'that' is where all the money is. Merchandise alone KISS have done better than any other band. Gene charges 21k just to try on his boots in the meet n greets' the egomaniac 25k for a smashed up single song played guitar. Go figure? Paul runs KISS Inc. Gene just takes the pussy still as an addict does and the money.
These shows don't seem that long ago. But when you see the crowd, the way they look, dress, hair, etc, it sure looks old! I didn't realize how lame everyone used to look!
