I was in this position a month ago! I had headaches throughout the day and they would fluctuate from being bad to awful I could not even open my eyes. I finally went to the doctors and she told me it could be a mix of stress, what I ate, and sleep! I thought those things were too basic to be causing those awful headaches but honestly she was right. I started sleeping well, going to bed earlier and not waking up too early. Not forcing myself to get up when my body isn't ready yet. Eating well!!! No more takeaways all the time, no more one packet of noodles every 3 days. And also, I kinda chilled studying a bit. Studying is very important but you are more important and I think it is crucial to plan studying well. Study smart, not hard. I really hope this helps.
Marilyn Fontanilla i tend not to study because of the headaches and it makes me feel really guilty. As it’s not like I don’t have the Motivation or slacking either. Medication doesn’t shift them either. I sleep well and go to bed inbetween the hours 9:30-11. But eating is a whole new level. I have no idea to get rid of the headaches. I think I’m stressed over the fact they keep coming back and taking over my everyday life
@@JadzForever I think you should go talk to your doctor. She prescribed me these pills for headaches and they do wonders. I take one with 2 panadol, chill for about an hour and im ready to take on studying again or whatever I need to do. Also you could have migraines??????
Jadzz I had awful headaches everyday for most of the day in the months before and during my GCSE’s. I went to the doctors so many times and they just put it down to stress. I thought I was dying! In the summer after my GCSEs they completely went away and it was amazing. Now I am back stressed again and they have come back but not as bad as I am doing a lot more stress relief and self love. I was given medication but it didn’t work. Hope this helps, also being vegan has really helped and eating whole foods. 🌱❤️
Dear year 11s, Don't worry too much about your mocks. Make sure you revise thoroughly, but don't stress over doing badly in some of the tests. Mocks are to prepare you for the real exams, work out what the weaknesses are in your current knowledge and revision strategies, so you know how to improve them ready for the real exams. Even if you do find mocks super stressful, going through that stress will build up your resilience and make you less affected by stress in the real exams. Remember, you are able to achieve anything you want if you truly put your mind to it! The things that help me most with GCSE stress: - exercise (and I have to stress this, you don’t have to enjoy exercise or be good it but you’ll soon learn to love it like I did.) - my Himalayan Salt Lamp. It is the most soothing thing I own! - positive affirmations!!! I do them every morning and they truly are brilliant. - meditation. - realising your world won’t end at the expense of a grade. I loved this video. I've lately been demotivated and uninterested in learning cause of a sudden change I had to deal with and the fact that I learnt a lot of the stuff I'm learning now. So, this helped to put me back into the zone and to remember to make the most out of the small patches of light that I make/find.

The less you think about it, the more you just do it....agree 💯 When I overthink, especially during stressful times, it makes the situation even more difficult and I end up doing nothing. I LIVED for the metaphor . Thank you so much for this Jade , I have mocks in 3 days and I’ve not been stressed , I’ve been completely the opposite however that has meant my revision has been lacking greatly meaning that I am becoming stressed as I don’t feel confident that I know everything I need to and this has helped a bunch . This video has been a godsend.... after such a stressful start to the week with tests being thrown out of nowhere at me and tons of homework I was feeling lost, low and stressed. However this video has made me relax and learn how to look after myself so much more. To give me the courage to just step back and chill for a bit when I feel stressed. It really helps me to have someone nearly commanding that from me because often times success makes me feel guilty and if too many things are aligning I get a nagging feeling that something awful will happen, as if I don’t deserve to reach that level of contentment in all areas of life....

I loved this video. I've lately been demotivated and uninterested in learning cause of a sudden change I had to deal with and the fact that I learnt a lot of the stuff I'm learning now. So, this helped to put me back into the zone and to remember to make the most out of the small patches of light that I make/find.

The less you think about it, the more you just do it....agree 💯 When I overthink, especially during stressful times, it makes the situation even more difficult and I end up doing nothing. But when I think less and actually just sit down with my study books, I immediately feel calm because I know I’m gonna be productive in that study session. Jade, lovely video as always! 🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really like your metaphor, I was thinking the dappled light could not only represent good things you do for yourself but possibly even subtle good things that happen naturally that you missed because you were focusing on the negatives (shadow)... it's all about mindset...
