Great Video! I just have a question. Since u mention that u should always lvl on 2-1 no matter what, what are the situations where not leveling on 2-1 is actually more beneficial? I’ve always been taught leveling to 2-1 when u have a weak board generally ruins ur econ.
You can stay level 3 if you are rerolling 1 costs, or like you said, at high level you can if you have no viable board. However at any rank on ladder below full high Challenger lobbies you can always make a competitive board so you should strive to do so. If you feel like you can confidently assess when to stay level 3 on 2-1 then you can do so of course, but I very frequently see players in the ~Masters range not level when they should be. For a brand new player bowling, I'd advise them to just aim straight at the center pin even though the best bowlers NEVER do that.
@@AesahTFT wait so you usually level to 4 more than not? I usually only level when I have a 2 star 1 cost and can like pretty much guarantee a small streak at least.
I usually play hyper rr comps and I usually roll down at 4-1 going into a winning streak that is no strategy to win a game but it's basically allways good enough for top 4
But lose streak for 1-2 cost reroll make sense. You have to roll down to 34 at lv6 anyway. Also lv to 4 and 5 lose you 8g + ~3g unit so that's another 1g lose each turn. That's around 5g by 3-2. LWLWW into LWLLL is the best way to get bot 4. You have low gold and like 25 HP (2 life) more than a lose streaking guy. Then if can't stabilize around 4-2. Can you really greedy and holding 10,20 gold at that spot? Like, 6 life left. And let's not forget about contesting.
The first mistake kept me hardstuck between emerald IV and emerald III. At the moment, i tried to just push levels and olay for the strongest board. i sky rocket my LP. Also, the lost streak example. Because how weak your boards end up being, you are forced to level up and roll a bit on krugs to not die on them, costing you onterest anyways. On the second mistake, when you are contested, how do you do? Because you have to roll more before your opponents so is more expensive.
Why always level 4 on 2-1? If you are holding all 1-cost pairs with a weak board, you are more likely to 2 star those units before levelling up and winning
IMO you are discounting the value you get from first pick on carousel. The loss streak not only grants you more gold and interest it also gives you first pick of champion or item on the carousel which can be very beneficial. Definitely more to it than a 2 gold difference.
@@SleeplessWrestling Probably, but I've rolled many times at 8 and 9 uncontested and can't hit with 50+ gold. It's not low rolling, it's a skill issue, I am probably pressing D incorrectly. :/
Thanks coach, been hard stuck Emerald 1, and this is definitely the reason.
Always looking forward to your contents
Your videos are golden Aesah! Thank you 😊

Everything is situational, just a general rule because higher cost units help you play your strongest board.

Definitely the mistakes I make, but I low roll most games, so I always try to fast 9 for a break. If it works, it's a first. If not, it's an eighth.
lol you are not low rolling most games
