I'm 61 years of age but still remember the first time I saw Blondie and Debbie Harry in my early Teens. She was every teenage boy's fantasy. But more so than that especially when you see the groups live performances, they were an awsome live band and as far as Debbie's singing goes just listen. She has a tremendous voice. Not one bum note and really captures the audience . Brilliant frontman/woman. Cant think of anybody in her era that performed any better. She has it all❤
Can't argue with that synopsis. Obviously she is the tallented sassy 'lady' of every red blooded male (and beyond) fantasy? But I prefer to 'like' the total band output. Theyare still pulling it off aren't they. My only xp was Liverpool 'Eat To The Beat' tour (1979/1980?) My God why did we leave our gig tickets in our jeans as they went through the wash in that era? I've never seen him get all the accolades he deserves. I think it's because that time in music was so varied and when drum machines got so prevalent a couple years later, the focus shifted more towards makeup and clothing, as in the New Romantics.
