Standard Threaded 95mm Filters fit pretty much every other Lens that has a 95mm diameter filter mount.
Very useful information, since Sony doesn’t specify the coarse thread pitch anywhere. Thanks for the heads up!
You got it!
Essential info! Thanks for the video.
G'day PolarPro crew, my new RF 200-800mm which has a 95mm filter thread, needed the thread adapter. Thank you Jeff what would we do without you 👍
Oh nice! Will add that to the list too! Thanks
I was about to get a regular 95 for a canon 28-70. Good thing I watched this first 😅
Thanks for the video, I hate being bamboozled! The little square C logo you’ve created would be a fantastic thing for the industry to standardize with to identify coarse threaded filter mounts.
Canon's 800mm f11 is also has the 95x1mm coarse thread.
Oh nice will get that added to the list, thanks!
This is the second time you mentioned my beloved rf 28-70 f2 as the 24-70. I’m sad.
The new videos say 28-70
Hi! I'm buying the 95mm coarse thread PMVND but I also want to use in on my 77mm diameter lens. Is there a step up filter for this use case? Or is there a couple of rings I can stack to make it work? Thanks
I knew it ! I have de 28-70 f2 from canon and my filter always fall off, I also have the 95mm mist and the same problem, im looking for the step up ring in the website but I can't find it, can you help me please
Yes, here is the link: bit.ly/3tDpXNX
Will add it to the description too, thanks!
Good to know, I dont like getting bamboozled
What is with the 95mm adapter ring for the Polar Pro base Camp (bought 2021 or 2022)? I have the Canon RF 28-70 2.0? Thanks a lot!
That is a standard thread pitch
thank you! @@PolarProFilters
@@PolarProFilters thank you!
I've only found 1 adapter from 95 fine male to 95 course female to run the everyday/shortstache filter. Do you all plan on creating the inverse of the step up ring you mention in the video?
ahhh to use the 95C on the 95 Fine threaded lenses?
is Sony PZ 28-135 lens a 95mm course thread or regular thread? I just ordered a filter from you guys and assumed mine was a standard since it's an older lens.
Not sure, would recommend checking the manufacture website
I have a question if I buy a 95mm coarse threads for my 28-70 rf lets say I have a 70-200 rf and the size is 77m and I buy a step down ring 77-95mm will it fit?????? or do I have to buy the regular 95m???
If you are buying 1 filter and using step up rings for other lenses This is probably easiest:
1. Buy 95mm Fine Thread Filter
2. Buy 77 > 95mm SUR
3. Buy 95Fine > 95 Course SUR
That way you can leave the SURs on your lenses and move that 1 filter in between them
@@PolarProFilters so the coarse thread won’t fit on a step up ring? That was my question sorry haha have a 28-70m so I’m just trying to figure out what to do
Course threaded filters do not thread onto standard threaded step up rings
Can any of these filters fit the Zeiss CP3 series?
Does the CP3 line have front threads? I think that might be a 95mm Matte Box clamp diameter
What about your 95mm thread plate for the basecamp mattebox?
That is a standard thread pitch
@@PolarProFilters plans to do a course thread so I could mount my basecamp to my 200-600?
Nothing within a few months, but you can use this to get it on that lens right now:
