I am thrilled that you got to see Andra and Cynthia again, AND got to meet Carole. I am absolutely certain those sachet pouches were embroidered for YOU on her machine. She chose that strawberry template for YOU because she has heard and seen what you apparently think about strawberries, darling Diann. I got home from an overnight to Fayetteville AR to an unexpected chunky package from Fabric Mart. that I had completely forgotten about. I had only OPENED and examined my last order which was received just before Fabric Mart's website transition. I don't have a need for adaptive clothing yet, but remember a friend who had a port for infusions during the last years of her life. I believe she had a local dressmaker make openings that could be covered by a "pocket" flap or zipped closed. They sounded very much like a couple of garments I bought 33 years ago to facilate breastfeeding of my infant son. I think that investigating techniques or skills we can transfer to the benefit of ourselves or loved ones is useful even if we don't need to use those skills right now. ❤ you, Diann. Hi, Diann! Love from sunny and warm West Sacramento with food and power -- things we take for granted until they are gone. They ate strawberries, fell in love with the view, made love, and chose the location to settle -- Fraser's Ridge! I hope your daughter, family, church family -- all you and yours are dry and well and have power. To my mind, NC is a sort of cultural center, an artist's colony for the whole country. I pray all the supplies, samples, book drafts, pictures, etc. are high and dry or can be recovered. I did hear from Folkwear, and they are doing pretty well, no damage. Much love! I'll watch for new stuff from you! Just 3 minutes to report in!
