I've only seen RUclips clips of the show and I like Ellen. But I don't know if she can play Pickleball. If she doesn't/won't play Pickleball, then she's out.

Re: Those late hour parties are purposely set up that way. The later it is and the more "cocktails" consumed, the more uninhibited the contestants become. Producers want to see emotional confrontations, screaming matches, crying, and even physical altercations. I don't see that happening with this group of mature women, although Kathy might come close.
